Hoagie sneaks into a conference room where Rebecca, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, is interviewing Bob. The topic is diabetes and the commercial practices the company is accused of using about the condition.
It seems strange that the screenwriters would bring up a somewhat serious subject in this scene and then have all three characters brush it off because it is May, the traditional month for this group to play their game. Hoagie plans to catch Jerry, the only player in the five-person match who has never been tagged. At his upcoming wedding, they’re going to see him!
Enthusiastically setting aside her inquiries about diabetes, Wall Street Journal reporter Rebecca claims that this 30-year-old game of tag is the REAL news. Hansel and Gretel had concluded adults that one supernatural incident involving a witch was a command from God to kill every single toad-kissing broad in medieval-style Europe.

Renner accurately captures Dahmer’s past. A man who attempted to appear normal to everyone around him. a man who is lonely and never feels comfortable in his flesh. A man capable of drilling someone in the head. The point is that watching him is uncomfortable.
Bruce Davison, who plays Dahmer’s father and knows something is a little “wrong” with his son, co-stars with Renner in this movie. With the intention to drug, rape, lobotomize, kill, and eat—not necessarily in that order—Artel Great is Rodney, a man Dahmer “befriends.” Each is excellent.
Most scenes in this dark, grainy movie are difficult to watch. It causes your stomach to twist just how it should. Assailants like Dahmer are genuine people, and so were his victims. A serial killer is neither charming nor romantic. The fact that watching them shouldn’t be uplifting proves that “Dahmer” is a success.

17. 28 Weeks Later
In a pitch-black cottage, Alice and her husband, Don, are shown preparing food. They were recently infected with the Rage virus, but they were able to flee to the countryside. Don and Alice are happy that their kids are not sick because they are away from home on a school vacation. When an elderly woman enters, they are in the middle of a passionate kiss.
She and her husband are the cottage owners, and all of the windows have been boarded up. The old couple, a woman and Jacob, are fed by Don and Alice. The other woman requests that her boyfriend have a place at the table during supper, but Jacob informs her that he has been gone for some time and will not be returning.
There is a sudden flurry of knocking on the front door. It is a little boy who is uninfected. Don debates for a moment, then opens the door for him. They ask about the boy’s origins while feeding him. He claims that his family is pursuing him and that he is fleeing from a nearby town. When the other woman turns to look outside, an infected suddenly bursts through the barred windows and spits blood in her face, startling her.
Don uses a crowbar to bash the sick woman to death. The other woman quickly contracts the disease, and Don also kills her. The survivors attempt desperately to flee as many sick persons burst through the cottage.

18. Neo Ned
Ned Nelson, a Skinhead who winds up in a psychiatric hospital where he meets Rachael, a black lady claiming to be the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, is played by Jeremy Renner in the movie. The odd couple’s liaison sets them on an unexpected path to rehabilitation.
Ned, like the majority of children, looked up to his father and aspired to be like him. Unfortunately, his father was a two-bit thief who was incarcerated for most of his life. Ned, who lacks a family of his own, joins the Aryan Brotherhood. Soon, Ned is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where he meets a young black girl who mesmerizes him and claims to be Adolf Hitler’s reincarnation.
What follows is a sad character study and love story of two people who were pulled together by what seemed like an impossibility. They both discover that there is more to a person than what is visible due to their connection.

19. North Country
The book “Class Action: The Case That Amended Sexual Harassment Law,” which is the basis for the film North Country, relates the tale of Lois Jenson, who brought the first sexual harassment class action case in American history. Theron portrays the daughter of an iron miner in the movie who works at a mine. Josey was not welcomed when she returned to her hometown and moved in with her parents after leaving an abusive marriage.
Without questioning his daughter, her father concludes that her marital adultery caused the problem. Even her son regards her as a whore. This demonstrates the propensity of women to blame themselves for any confrontation with men. These prejudices were more pronounced in the film’s chronological context, which spans the final few decades of the 20th century (Rosen).
Josey’s only priorities are having a home of her own, eating quality food, and occasionally being able to buy her son hockey skates, all of which are quite fair. Since it is not “women’s labor,” even her father Hank expressed his dislike for women who work in the mines. He accuses Josey of depriving a man of a job on which a whole family depends. Hank, however, is unaware that his daughter also needs to provide for a family. If she can’t find a man to take care of her, even the women in the neighborhood think something is amiss.

20. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Jesse and his gang—including his older brother Frank James—commit a train heist at the movie’s start. The younger brother of Charlie Ford, Bob Ford, aspires to join the gang and asks Frank and Jesse to accept him first. Jesse likes Bob and asks him to remain at his house for a few days while the rest of the gang is away at a safe place despite not allowing him to participate in the train heist.
Bob learns that Dick and a few other gang members are preparing to assassinate Jesse to collect a reward after he meets the others at the safe house. Miller acts suspicious when Jesse visits him simultaneously, and Jesse deduces the scheme against him.
Wood, Jesse’s cousin, and Dick get into a fight at Bolton’s home, which leads to Bob killing Wood and concealing his body. Bob then turns Dick to work out a deal with the police. In exchange for killing Jesse, he is given a bounty and a full pardon for his crimes. Jesse encourages Charley and Bob to assist him in robbing a bank without being aware of this scheme.
After shooting Jesse in the back, Bob gains fame, travels the nation, and acts out the murder on stage. After a year, Charlie kills himself; Bob lives for another ten years before being shot at his salon in retaliation for killing Jesse.

21. A Little Trip to Heaven
A recent widow is seated at a life insurance office before the opening credits. The widow, anticipating financial support after her husband passes away, is told that she is not eligible for full death benefits because the insurance provider has a video of her husband smoking and blames his passing on cigarettes. As his coworker persuades the widow that she is fortunate to leave with just a portion of the reward she had anticipated, Abe Holt observes.
The movie’s main plot points are three automobile wrecks introduced in order at the beginning. In the first, a young couple is shown flying through the convertible’s open roof after it has been sailed off a cliff. When they reach land, the woman uses a pipe to strike her fellow swimmer in the leg. In the second, an insurance adjuster named Abe Holt has been involved with a city bus and suspects many passengers joined the bus after the collision to submit a claim.
Holt conjures up a concealed camera to help determine who was really on the bus. His coworker soon informs him that their firm wants him to look into a crash in the isolated and barren town of North Hastings, Minnesota, as most people depart. The third collision concerns an unidentified young man who, after stopping at the neighborhood tavern on a rainy night, is left dead by the side of the road.

22. The Immigrant
Rich, dark colors and chiaroscuro contrasts of light and shadow are painstakingly rendered in the film’s period reproduction of New York in 1921. As a conscientious director who pays close attention to every visual element, Gray occasionally creates the impression that everything is frozen in amber or that we are watching a dream. Because of the constant pace of the images and careful management of what we see and don’t see, it may be argued that he is telling the story from Ewa’s point of view.
For instance, we witness Ewa’s reservations and eventual gradual, martyred acceptance of her nearly hopeless situation in stages without ever having to witness the degrading nature of the prostitution itself when the eccentric and love-struck Bruno gradually and remorsefully leads her into prostitution for him. Gray withholds that information from us until a very distressing sequence in which Bruno abandons Ewa on stage, and she is subjected to a barrage of insults from the audience’s male members.
Ewa stands there, taking in these men’s harsh, misogynist remarks, while Gray keeps the camera squarely on her face. Gray makes you feel the horrific assault on her dignity and the reservoir of pride she must access to bear it without revealing the guys or what they do to her in bed.

23. Lightbulb
Originally titled Lightbulb, the 2009 American movie Ingenious. A struggling inventor and a pushy salesperson who were friends develop a device that becomes a global craze in this rags-to-riches tale. It is based on the genuine account of some buddies who struggled for a while before coming up with an invention.
The adage “That’s so crazy it might just work” comes to mind. In this comedy-drama from director Jeffrey Balsmeyer, two people wager their futures on an idea that seems to have been the subject of every cliché. Living in Tucson, Arizona, Matt and Sam are two dreamers with a strong sense of imagination and the hope that one day they’ll strike it rich by creating a device that will revolutionize the world.
Unfortunately, they are lacking in both luck and business knowledge; when Matt and Sam come up with a good idea for a dog watch, News, a salesperson who is completely lacking in morals, steals it from under them. This is just the most recent of many projects that have failed them.
When Matt hatches one more idea he thinks has potential, his wife Gina has decided she’s had enough, and he and Sam are staring bankruptcy in the face. But who would purchase a talking beer opener? The lightbulb was written and produced by Mike Cram, who also served as one of the talking bottle opener’s inventors. It also starred Eddie Jemison and Marguerite Moreau.

24. Take
Both the lead actors, Jeremy Renner and Minnie Driver, give performances that would set apart a superior screenplay. She is Ana, a housekeeper who is also the mother of Jesse, an excitable young boy, and the wife of a primary school teacher (Bobby Coleman). Renner portrays Saul as a failure at the lowest levels, which works for a storage company and owes a jerk $2,000 in debt.
He is fired for taking items from one locker and hiding them in another locker where the contents would be sold at auction. He stows the additional money away. Cool, huh? I’m not sure how the boss learns about it. Simply Saul’s bad luck.
One of those days it is. He splits his knuckles while smashing the window of his non-starting automobile after being fired. He then asks a friend for the $2,000, gets a car loan, and is tasked with robbing a Range Rover. The Range Rover’s owner then brutally assaults him. He takes the revolver from the loaner car and puts it in his pocket before heading to the pharmacy to complete his father’s prescription.
He immediately decides to loot the business after spotting the cashier’s window, and while doing so, he shoots the cashier and kidnaps little Jesse. Many people would have been spared trouble if he hadn’t been sacked.

25. 12 and Holding
Being 12 is difficult for anyone, but losing a best friend is unfathomable since, at that age, your buddies are your entire universe. Malee, Leonard, Rudy, and Jacob are best friends from childhood and are essentially known as the “famous four,” but after Rudy is killed when a neighborhood bully burns down their treehouse, all of their lives are left with permanent scars.
Naturally, Jacob is the most severely affected. He has lost a brother, and his parents, who are also grieving and angry, are of little use. During visiting hours, he turns to retaliation and taunts the murderers via an inch of plexiglass; his demeanor transforms from meek and reserved to aggressively angry.
Leonard, who is obese, loses his sense of smell and deadly appetite. He soon embarks on a health crusade and alienates his obese family by only eating apples. Young Malee, a patient of her psychiatrist’s mother, falls in love with a troubled but attractive construction worker. Is she merely enjoying changing gender in a Nabokovian manner, or is she pining for a missing father figure?
All three kids experience some difficult life lessons throughout the movie, but they also serve as role models for their families by demonstrating how to mature. Twelve And Holding’s three principal young actors give surprisingly strong performances, even though the film’s premise isn’t particularly novel.

26. Love Comes to the Executioner
One of the numerous films selected throughout its film festival tour, Love Comes to the Executioner, is a shining example of why independent filmmakers are the best to look to for high-caliber filmmaking. Heck, who is far more intelligent than his immediate family, is the movie’s main character. His father was executed many years ago as punishment for going through the hardships above, his mother is an alcoholic, and his brother Chick is a depressed murderer.
When Heck goes home, he realizes right once that his mother needs alcoholism treatment or else she will pass away. The only job that appears reasonable to Heck as she wanders the streets looking for one to pay for her medication is the “closer” at the adjacent jail, which also happens to be the facility where his psychotic brother, Chick, is being held. The twist is that Heck accepts his position as the “closer,” the person who executes the convicts, despite not being aware that Chick is on death row.

Kelly Makin‘s 1995 American comedy film based on the National Lampoon magazine series is titled National Lampoon’s Senior Trip. It was Jeremy Renner’s first movie. The story’s central conceit concerns a group of troubled high school students caught using their skip day to vandalize the principal’s home and sentenced to detention.
However, thanks to a sympathetic teacher, detention is turned into a movie day when one of the students completes the task that the principal assigned to them—writing a letter to their state representative about the changes they purportedly want to see in the educational system.
When the senator receives the letter, he makes a special trip to the school to invite the students to speak on the president’s education reform in Washington, DC. However, his true goal is to discredit the president and pass his reform legislation, which will make him a sizable profit thanks to a deal he strikes with one of his donors. As you might expect, the kids have no idea and are happy to be out of class to take a road trip to the capital, where the real fun starts.

Jeremiah’s young mother, Sarah, has him return to live with her after spending his formative years in a loving foster home. Their way of living soon turns chaotic as Sarah exposes her little kid to drugs and a tumultuous life on the road.
Sarah is connected with several guys who are abusive to her and her son Jeremiah, age 7, and she uses them as an excuse to leave her son behind. After she abandons Emerson while in Atlantic City, he returns to their house and rapes Jeremiah. Jeremiah’s grandma brings him to a violent Christian cult in West Virginia that his grandfather leads after a trip to the hospital. After Jeremiah, 11, has been with the cult for three years, Sarah returns to get him.
Later, when Sarah is soliciting, Kenny, her current lover, and a truck driver abandon them at a truck stop. Sarah understands she cannot claim Jeremiah is her son if she wants to maintain her men. She convinces Jeremiah to adopt a different identity to take on the role of her “little sister,” As his cross-dressing develops, he begins to use his mother’s seduction strategies.
Jackson, his mother’s most recent partner, is seduced by Jeremiah when he dresses up as a “baby doll” replica of Sarah, complete with her makeup, white nightgown, and red high heel pumps. Jackson first resists the boy’s advances but eventually caves.

30. The House
Scott and Kate Johansen, a spouse and wife team, caution their daughter about the risks of attending college while visiting Bucknell University. Alex shares her interest in attending the same university her parents attended while acknowledging their cautions. When Alex is admitted to the university, the Johansens anticipate that the community’s scholarship program will cover the cost of his tuition.
The Johansens are the only ones who disagree when city councilor Bob Schaeffer regrettably says during a town hall meeting that they will not implement the scholarship program in favor of constructing a community pool. The pair tries to obtain funds by requesting a loan, a pay increase for Scott, and the restoration of Kate’s employment, but all of their requests are turned down.
They grudgingly agree to travel to Las Vegas with their friend and neighbor, Frank Theodorakis, whose wife Raina is divorcing him due to his gambling and porn addiction. They have won a lot of money playing craps, but they lose it all after Scott curses the dice by urging Frank not to roll a seven.
When Dawn informs Bob about Johansen’s presence in the town hall, Bob is persuaded to return. To get Chandler to drive more quickly, Bob crashes his car. To locate the Johansens with the money, Bob returns on foot to the town hall. After going after the Johansens, Bob confesses his interest in the casino money and his scheme to rob money from the city budget for himself and Dawn, prompting the latter to break up with him and return to her husband, Joe. Scott and Kate utilize the money they seized from Bob to pay for their daughter’s college expenses while Bob is placed under custody.

31. Arctic Dogs
Swifty (Renner), an arctic fox, is the main character of Arctic Dogs. Swifty works in the main office of Arctic Blast Delivery Services (ABDS), but he has much loftier aspirations. Swifty aspires to be the company’s “Top Dog,” the Arctic’s top husky couriers that deliver the mail all across town, while coworkers PB (Alec Baldwin) and Lemmy (Franco) find satisfaction in their menial employment at ABDS.
Swifty is nevertheless eager to achieve the Top Dog title despite his diminutive stature, lack of experience, and occasional rebuke from sour Elk boss Magda (Anjelica Huston). One day, Swift is allowed to pilot his sled and delivers a puzzling cargo to Otto Van Walrus in a remote place.
Swifty immediately becomes involved in something more significant due to this action, learning about Otto Van Walrus’s evil plot, a covert plot involving the loss of ABDS’s Top Dogs, and the abrupt change to warmer weather in the area. PB, Lemmy, and Swifty’s secret crush Bertha (Klum) must discover the truth behind Otto’s scheme to redeem themselves and save their community from destruction.
Because it is intended for a younger audience, Arctic Dogs is nonetheless simple to understand despite Swifty’s inevitable rise from outsider to town hero. The movie has good animation. Although it is undoubtedly colorful and has a kid-friendly atmosphere, the spirit nevertheless seems outdated compared to today.
The film’s primary flaw was that it consistently seemed lackluster, like a direct-to-video release. The plot could have been more straightforward and wacky because Swifty’s trip needed more attention in the screenplay. The remaining story needs to be better; it comes across as empty and uninspired.

Mike describes his responsibility to keep the rats in the cage happy and prevent the keepers from turning into rats. He describes Kingstown as a corporate town where incarceration is big business. A region with an average of seven jails within ten miles.
Two days prior, as he sat at his desk in his office, Mitch overheard an angry man called Walter complain about how his child now has a number of guards surrounding his cell like a flock of vultures. Then he starts shouting about how he had told Mitch to relocate his son. Mitch smirks, denies being the warden, and explains calmly why Walter’s kid got into this problem in the first place by striking a guard.
After finishing his session with Walter, he asks his secretary if there is anyone in his waiting room with an urgent concern. At first, his secretary says that it is nothing out of the ordinary. She remembers that Vera, the wife of Milo Sunter, is in the waiting room just as Mitch is about to leave and take a break. Informing his brother Mike that he will catch up with him later, Mitch sits back down.
Milo, who is always upbeat, is doing well and counting down the minutes till he can leave, says Vera. It’s a little early to start that, says Mitch. Vera eventually admits that her husband requires things to be moved.

In the world of New York City police detectives, where every officer has a secret, The Unusuals tackles both the realistic drama and the comedic craziness. Having a dark sense of humor is also helpful because you never know when your last day will come.
After being recently transferred from Vice to the NYPD’s Homicide division, Detective Casey Shraeger is immediately thrust into a scene filled with gunfire and dead bodies. Since she is harboring a couple of her secrets, Casey realizes that the force is full of them when she starts her new mission. However, she is given the difficult task of looking into the death of a fellow department member who was earlier partnered with Detective Jason Walsh, now her new partner.
The secrets and quirks of the rest of the department start to come to light as the pair looks for the cop killer. Detective Eddie Alvarez, a prankster and social climber, has no qualms about stealing cases as long as he can turn them into front-page stories; partners Eric Delahoy and Leo Banks, an overly cautious officer who won’t take off his bulletproof vest and a partner who is trying to kill himself in the line of duty, are opposed. 35. Avengers: Endgame
Captain Marvel saves Tony and Nebula three weeks after “the snap”; they all return to Earth, Nebula reveals where Thanos is, and they travel there to face him. They learn that he killed himself in the act of destroying the stones by harnessing the power of the stones themselves. Thor beheads him in a fit of anger.
Now fast forward five years. While The Avengers continue to put out figurative fires, everyone is still mourning their losses. A rat accidentally activates Scott Lang’s quantum tunnel vehicle, sending him out into the present day even though only five hours have passed for him. The vehicle is currently in storage. Realizing that the quantum realm might hold the solution to undoing what has happened, he says.
They realize how to move the quantum realm with Tony’s assistance and Banner’s help, who has successfully combined both of his personalities into Professor Hulk. They realize they can retrieve the stones from earlier times, bring them to the present, use them to reverse the snap, and then return them.
They divide into teams and reenact The Avengers’ Battle of New York, winning the scepter but surrendering the Tesseract to Loki. They take a chance and decide to steal the Tesseract from 1970s New Jersey rather than return home empty-handed. Tony sees his father, and Cap gets a distant glimpse of Peggy. Bruce meets the Ancient One on Bleeker Street and convinces her to give him the time stone.
War Machine and Nebula successfully retrieve the power stone, but Nebula’s presence in the same time frame as her past self causes interference. When Thanos from the past realizes what has transpired and discovers her memories, he kidnaps her and replaces her with “his” wicked Nebula. Thor visits his mother for a final goodbye when he and Rocket return to Asgard, where they also collect the aether.
