Comedy and Heroism are now inseparable. As even younger audiences engage with movies that revolve around superheroes, there has been a great rise in hilarious (and sometimes not) one-liners that break the tension in scenes that may become too serious about taking at times.
Contemporary superheroes have a personality more than being just serious and often make jokes here and there *looks at Tony Stark*. While the essence of comedy in superhero movies receives mixed reactions, it cannot be denied that superhero movies that are also funny have great viewership, and it only increases with time. The latest Ant-Man and the Wasp movie will probably add to this soon.
The Boys is a popular action-comedy series that has been loved worldwide due to its characters’ perfect comedic delivery. Even with the high level of gore scenes and the dark plot, it still maintains the hilarious essence. With the third season just out in mid-2022, leaving fans in anticipation, The Boys has made people want to explore more in this mixed genre.

Margot Robbie gives some of her best work playing the newly single Harley, who now has realized her self-worth. The movie begins with a distressed Harley who was recently dumped by the Joker. She has not really come to terms with being by herself and doing things for herself.
