X Men Movies Watch Order: All The Installments So Far

X-Men watch order is quite tedious, and we shall untangle all the knots for you. The film series focuses on superheroes who fight villains. The characters have come from the Marvel comic books. 20th Century Fox has bought the rights to these characters. The X-Men films have been a huge success at the box office. They are collectively made on a budget of 1.7 billion dollars. Upon their release, they collected more than 6 billion dollars worldwide. Till now, we have had 13 X-Men films with us.

The timeline of these films is divided into two parts. The first timeline is the original one, and the other one is the new timeline. As for Logan, it was first decided to be set in an alternative timeline which is not seen in any of the films before. Later, Marvel Cinematic Universe also differentiated the X-Men series from their official handbook, which means that the two will never clash. This has divided a new timeline again, which is called the Logan timeline.

The plot of X-Men starts with the first original film, which was released in 2000. We see the setting of the story in 1944. Poland was occupied by the Nazis. A young Erik Lehnsherr gets separated from his own family when they enter the Auschwitz concentration camp. In order to escape the wrath of the Nazis, he tries to run toward his parents. In an attempt to do so, he manages to bend a set of metal gates towards him. Although, he could not use his powers for long because the guards knocked him out.
