3. Legends of Tomorrow
This show is a spin-off that is part of the Arrowverse. It features characters from previous shows and also introduces some new characters. The story starts with a Time Master named Rip Hunter, who goes rogue when he gets to know that an immortal tyrant named Vandal Savage has conquered the Earth and killed his family. He later gets to know that his organization was working with Vandal all along.
Now, to save humanity and take revenge for his family, Hunter assembles a team of superheroes and villains as they all embark on a journey through time to stop Savage’s evil plans. 4. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
This series is a reboot of the 1980s cartoon She-Ra. The story starts on the planet Etheria where two orphans, Adora and Catra, become good friends and are trained to become soldiers of an evil army led by a tyrant named Hordak, whose goal is to conquer the entire planet. One day, Adora stumbles upon a sword that turns her into a legendary hero, She-Ra.
She then gets to know that the army she is serving is killing innocent people for their goals. After learning about the truth, Adora decides to use her power to protect the people of Etheria from his cruelty. She assembles an alliance that will help her fight against the evil forces of Hordak. If you notice, both Stargirl and She-Ra have some similarities.
5. The Umbrella Academy
The series starts off in a different universe where 43 women give birth simultaneously around the world at noon, although no one had shown any sign of pregnancy until the pain started. Seven children are then adopted by a billionaire named Reginald Hargreeves, who made a superhero team of them and named it “the Umbrella Academy.” He, instead of giving names to the children, allows them a number.
Later, their robot mother gave them their names. They all have different powers and abilities, like one has superstrength, can manipulate reality, etc. They don’t have a very good relationship with each other until one day, they are informed about an apocalypse happening in the future. Now they all have to keep aside their conflicts and work together to stop the apocalypse and save the world.

6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The story is about a young girl named Buffy Summers. She is chosen by destiny and grants supernatural powers, which she needs to use to eliminate demons, vampires, and other evil forces. She has now become a Slayer. Buffy is also given a Watcher, whose job is to provide guidance, help her in the battles and give her training.
She has just moved to a town called Sunnydale. There is a high school here, which is made up on top of a portal that opens to demon dimensions, and it attracts supernatural things to the area. Their only hope now is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, Emma Swan, who was sent to the real world from the Enchanted Forest using a magic wardrobe just before the curse was activated. In the start, they all used to work alone but later were shown to form a team named Titans and fight together to protect people from dangerous villains. 9. Runaways
The show is based on the superhero team of the same name in Marvel Comics. It shares continuity with the films and other series made by them. The plot of the series revolves around six teenagers who have supernatural abilities and decide to run away from their homes as they discover that their parents are all evil villains.
They run an evil organization called Pride. Now it is up to the young superheroes to discover their powers and learn to control them. 11. Young Justice
The setting of this show is set in a universe that is different from the main timeline of previous DCEU and other continuities. The series follows the lives of young superheroes and sidekicks. They all together form a group called the Young Justice which operates in areas where most established superheroes don’t interfere.
Their inspiration is the famous superhero group, the Justice League. The member of the Justice League often gives them guidance and training. It has now been one year after the great battle with Thanos and all the Avengers.
Clint Barton, the main protagonist, is still on the battlefield, defeating and killing some demons of his past, and while doing so, he is forced to partner with Kate Bishop, who idolizes him for his archery skills. Here, Grisha is some people who are described as magic-users, but according to them, they are just practitioners of “The Small Science,” which means the ability to manipulate matter at the very “molecular level.”
The main protagonist, Alina Starkov, is a Sun Summoner, meaning she can manipulate the powers of light. She quickly became the target of many international organizations because a Grisha who can summon light has not been found in hundreds of years. Alina now has to learn to control her powers and free the world from the reign of an evil organization known as the Shadow Fold.

If you love animated shows and that too with some fantasy and horror, then you should definitely check out The Owl House. This show center around a teenage girl named Luz Noceda. One day, she accidentally falls into a portal that leads to the Demon Realm, where a lot of witches and mysterious characters can be seen roaming around.
She arrives at an island made by the remains of a dead titan, and there she meets a witch named Eda Clawthorne, who also goes by the name “The Owl Lady,” and her housemate King. Luz shows interest in becoming a witch herself one day, even knowing that she cannot use any magic. This series is also a part of the Arrowverse. The story revolves around Kara Zor-El, who is sent to Earth by her parents from Krypton. Even though this is also an animated show, you shouldn’t compare it with other shows we mentioned on the list, like “Justice League” or “Gravity Falls.” The story is about two sisters, Violet and Powder. They live in a city called Piltover, which is full of corruption, crimes, and conflicts.
The show shows their struggle to live a peaceful life in such a bad place and how politics and power work in the world. The style and quality of animation of this show are quite different from most animated shows. Although shows like these are made to target the younger audience, Arcane has a bit more intensity and grittiness.

17. Cloak & Dagger
This show is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show is about two young teenagers, Tandy and Tyrone. After a devastating incident at the Roxxon Gulf Platform, they both discover that they have obtained superpowers. I can say that most of the people that have watched a lot of animated movies and series must have watched this masterpiece, i.e., “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” This show has a huge fanbase and is loved by people of all age groups. The Legend of Korra is the sequel to the Avatar series and tells us about events that happened after Aang became the Avatar.
The story takes place in the world 70 years after the original timeline. This time the new Avatar is a girl named Korra, who is very talented and skilled in four elements except Wind. As the next Avatar, she has a lot of responsibilities and duties to fulfill in order to maintain the world peace established by his ancestor. He then discovers that he has gained lightning-fast superhuman speed and decides to use this power to fight evil guys and other metahumans that use their powers to do bad stuff in the city by the alias of the Flash. In his journey, he faces many dangerous villains and makes new allies.

21. Jupiter’s Legacy
This show has some similarities with Stargirl as in both shows, the new generation superheroes are in a struggle to follow the ideals of their ancestors and walk in their footprints. The plot is about a group of people who receives superpowers on an uncharted island. They then create a team of superheroes called the Union of Justice. They had very straightforward ideals, no killing and interfering in political matters.
After a century, now the next generation of superheroes, however, struggles to keep up with their rigid ideals. Things take a really bad turn when one of the heroes’ sons kills his enemies. This started a debate among the people over whether the ideals made by the previous heroes were still relevant.

22. Superman and Lois
This show was first intended to be a part of the Arrowverse, but it was then decided to keep the show in a separate universe, which is different from Earth-Prime. This show features some of the DC’s worst superheroes in terms of the use of their powers, skills, looks, or reputation. The story takes place after the events of Titans. The story revolves around a mad scientist named Dr. Niles Caulder, also called The Chief creates a superhero team, which includes Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl, and Crazy Jane, and names it The Doom Patrol.
All the heroes got their powers due to some accidents, because of which their bodies are now scarred and disfigured in many places. The Chief, with the help of his part support, part superhero team, has decided to protect the planet that doesn’t want anything from them.
24. Batwoman
This series is based on the characters of the DC Comics by the same name. The series is about Kane Kate, who is the cousin of vigilante Bruce Wayne, who also happens to be a masked superhero called Batman. But after the disappearance of Batman from Gotham City, Kate later finds out that her cousin Bruce actually was the masked hero Batman.
She then decides to use her wealth and technology also to help people and becomes a vigilante herself by the name of Batwoman. But later in the series, Kate dies due to an airplane crash, and now, Ryan Wilder, who is an ex-con, finds her suit near the crash and decides to become Batwoman to take revenge for her mother.

25. Arrow
The series follows Oliver Queen, a spoiled billionaire playboy whose ship got wrecked, and he had to spend the next five years on a remote island in the North China Sea. After returning home to Star City, he reunites with his friends and family members. He then decides to fight back against crime in his city and becomes a vigilante by the name of ‘The Hood,’ whose primary weapons are a bow and arrow.
He hunts down people listed in his father’s notebook with the help of some of his friends and relatives. The show is showing his determination toward his goals and his daily life struggle between being a CEO of a big company in the daytime and his vigilante activities at night.
26. Wanda Vision
This was the first television series made in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and it was set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The series starts with Wanda Maximoff and Vision have just moved to the town of Westview, New Jersey. They are living a very happy life and enjoying themselves with their neighbors and society members.
After some time, some strange things started to happen. Their time was moving quickly through different decades, and they started noticing something was off about this town. Some people started behaving differently. This series also marked the beginning of Phase Four of the MCU.

The series tells us about a middle school girl, Usagi Tsukino, and how one day, she meets a black talking cat that tells her that she is Sailor Moon, a Sailor Guardian who is fighting a group of villains called the Dark Kingdom.
She is also told to find and team up with her fellow Sailor Guardians, and together they have to search for the Princess of an ancestral kingdom on the Moon and a legendary artifact with immense power known as the Silver Crystal. They all embark on a journey in which they will encounter many dangerous villains and must get information about their past lives as well.

30. Daredevil
This series is about a lawyer named Matt Murdock. He is blind but still carries on his duties as a sincere lawyer every single day. But as the sun sets and night comes, he becomes a masked vigilante by the name of Daredevil, fighting criminals on the streets of New York.
He is able to roam around very easily compared to a normal blind person because of his heightened senses and sharp hearing, which also enables him to fight his enemies and sometimes use some quirky abilities to pinpoint the location of the enemy and even estimate the number of opponents.
Later on in the show, he also comes face-to-face with another vigilante named Punisher, but his methods and way of justice are really something else.

31. Iron Fist
The main protagonist, Danny Rand, returns to New York City after being presumed dead for 15 years. He came to reclaim his family business which had been taken over by his father’s friend Harold Meachum and his children, Ward and Joy. After the plane in which Danny was traveling with his parents crashed in the mountains, his parents died at the moment, but he was found and saved by some monks.
They took him in and made him a monk, and taught him different martial arts and kung-fu. After his training, he became worthy to wield the mystical power of the Iron Fist. After coming to New York, he now has to figure out the reason behind the plane crash while also fulfilling his duties as the Iron Fist.
32. Heroes
The series is about a group of ordinary people who discover that they have latent superhuman abilities. After this knowledge, all of their lives take an upside-down route, and they have shown how it would affect their personal and professional lives. Their reactions to these powers are just like any normal person would think after knowing that they have superpowers.
Some of the people didn’t like the idea of ordinary people getting powers, so they formed a secret society known as “The Company,” and their goal was to either control or killed all those who were gifted. Now the heroes need to work together and learn to control their newfound powers to stop the destruction of the world.
33. Daybreak
If you love to watch a comedy with some action and sci-fi themes, then you shouldn’t miss this series. The series is set in post-apocalyptic California, where the protagonist, Josh Wheeler, who is a 17-year-old high school outcast, is looking for his missing girlfriend. He is later joined by some dimwits, including a pyromaniac child and his former high school bully.
Josh needs to try his best to survive in this twisted world, where groups of gangs styled as Mad Max, Amazonian warriors, people that turned into zombies, and many more creatures are roaming freely among the streets. This show is based on the comic series by Brian Ralph.
34. The Boys
The Boys is set in a universe where people with superpowers are called Supes and are praised as heroes by the people. They all work for a corporation known as Vought International, which monetizes them to gain profit, which they then also use to help the heroes to manage their daily expenses and other necessities.
There are two major groups, the Seven, a premier team of Vought, and the Boys, vigilantes that want to take down Vought and its bad and evil superheroes. Both groups have a leader, The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, and the Seven are led by Homelander. Now both groups need to fix all the problems and resolve all the issues among them.

35. The Thundermans
This is another series mixed with comedy and science fiction. The story revolves around a family called the Thundermans. All the members of the family have some kind of superpowers, and they all try to hide them from the general public and want to live a normal peaceful life in the fictional town of Hiddenville.
The parents don’t want to use their powers and want to live normal lives, while their kids, Phoebe, wants to become a superhero and use her powers for good deeds, her twin brother Max wants to become a badass supervillain, and Nora and Billy enjoy to use their powers whenever possible. This is a really good show which you can even watch with your family as it doesn’t have much violence or bloodshed shown.
