Enefa’s eventual demise made readers happy, in part because it allowed Yeine to live. Her death also accorded with her goddess persona, which readers will find most probably appealing.
It makes it obvious that Enefa should live and die while also giving new life, as she is the reason that life could exist and that mortality is a natural aspect of life.
