Palworld Community Floods Pocketpair’s Skin Suggestion Post With Requests for Sekhmet Maid Outfit

Pocketpair communications lead John "Bucky" Buckley's lighthearted request for Palworld skin ideas quickly turned into a wave of jokes centered around Sekhmet.

Just over a week after the launch of Palworld Version 1.0, Pocketpair’s communications and publishing lead John “Bucky” Buckley asked players a simple question: if one of the newly added Pals were to receive a cosmetic skin, which one should it be? The community responded almost immediately—and overwhelmingly—with the same suggestion: a Sekhmet maid skin.

Buckley shared the playful prompt on X, making it clear there was “absolutely no promise” that any proposed skin would ever be developed. He wrote,

“Theoretically, hypothetically, conceptually, and spiritually…if, with absolutely no promise of it being realized or coming to fruition ever, but if…capital I and capital F…IF…any of the new Pals in 1.0 were to get a skin, which would it be and what would the skin be?”

Buckley jokes after fans rally behind Sekhmet

Instead of a wide variety of cosmetic ideas, many players repeatedly suggested giving Sekhmet a maid-themed outfit. The Pal, inspired by the Egyptian goddess of the same name, has quickly become one of Version 1.0’s most talked-about additions.

Buckley responded with humor, posting an image from Watchmen showing Doctor Manhattan disintegrating an opponent alongside the caption:

“Sekhmet maid skin. Me on the right, you on the left.”

The joke didn’t stop fans from continuing the trend. Players followed up with similar requests for maid outfits for Venusa, Solene, and even Anubis, turning the discussion into one of the community’s most active conversations since the Version 1.0 update.

While Pocketpair has not announced plans for additional cosmetic skins, the exchange highlights the enthusiasm surrounding Palworld’s growing roster of Pals following its full release. Since Version 1.0 launched, the survival game has seen a significant surge in player activity, with fans continuing to share gameplay ideas, cosmetic concepts, and feature requests across social media.
