Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced the Final Festival of Universes to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The global in-game event begins on October 29, 2026, at 5 PM PDT, giving longtime players another opportunity to collect rare items and earn commemorative rewards ahead of the next game in the series.
The anniversary celebration also connects Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which is scheduled to become available in 2027. Players who obtain certain event-exclusive items and link their Bandai Namco ID will be able to unlock special rewards in the upcoming title.
Before the festival begins, a free update will arrive on October 27, adding login bonus rewards, special costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time. Access to the Gallery of Time update requires the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC.
Final Festival of Universes Brings Rare Items and Anniversary Rewards
During the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 10th anniversary event, players can increase their camaraderie levels with Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu. Raising these levels will unlock special illustrations featuring the characters who have accompanied players throughout their adventures.
The festival will also bring back hard-to-obtain items and let players earn 25 times the usual number of Star Coins, making it easier to exchange them for rewards. Participants can obtain a special anniversary Gi and a commemorative medal, both of which can help unlock rewards in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
Players must link their game account to a Bandai Namco ID to qualify for the upcoming game’s rewards. The available rewards will depend on which eligible event items they obtain. More details about the linking process and rewards are available on the official Bandai Namco website.
The October 27 update will introduce new login bonus rewards and special costumes. It will also update the Gallery of Time, which requires the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC to access.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 lets players create custom characters, explore Conton City, train under iconic characters, and fight enemies to protect the flow of history. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Bandai Namco has also released a 10th anniversary trailer, offering players a look at the celebration. The event serves as a bridge between the long-running sequel and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which is planned for release in 2027.
