Nintendo has rolled out another packed weekly Nintendo Download, headlined by the launch of Splatoon Raiders on Nintendo Switch 2. The latest update introduces the franchise’s new single-player-focused adventure while also expanding Nintendo Music with fresh soundtracks and playlists. Alongside the new game, players can access limited-time activities, sweepstakes, Nintendo Switch Online promotions, and a long list of new releases across both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

The biggest highlight is undoubtedly Splatoon Raiders, which takes the colorful shooter series in a different direction with a treasure-hunting adventure centered around exploration and cooperative gameplay. Nintendo is also encouraging players to celebrate the launch through My Nintendo rewards and exclusive summer-themed giveaways.

Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have new reasons to stay engaged with bonus membership offers, an upcoming network test for The Duskbloods, and additional classic music playlists available through the Nintendo Music app.

The newest addition to the Splatoon franchise is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. Unlike previous entries that focused primarily on multiplayer battles, Splatoon Raiders puts players in the role of a mechanic exploring the mysterious Spirhalite Islands alongside the musical trio Deep Cut.

Players can customize their character, equip mechanical gadgets, and wield ink-based weapons while battling waves of Salmonids in search of treasure. One member of Deep Cut accompanies players in combat using a powerful bot, while online and local wireless multiplayer support allows up to four players to tackle island raids together.

To mark the game’s launch, Nintendo is offering players the chance to earn 30 My Nintendo Platinum Points simply by participating in a special online activity. Fans in eligible regions can also enter the Splatoon Raiders Beach Day Sweepstakes, featuring island-themed prizes including a branded beach chair with umbrella, beach towel and backpack set, and a reversible bucket hat. The promotion runs through September 22.

Nintendo Music Adds Splatoon Raiders, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Mario Kart Tracks

Nintendo also expanded its Nintendo Music library this week with several notable additions for subscribers.

The soundtrack from Donkey Kong Bananza is now available, featuring energetic tracks including “Ingot Isle Falls,” “Forest Layer: Bellhop Burb,” and “Banandium Root Tower.”

To coincide with the release of Splatoon Raiders, Nintendo has also added a special collection of music from the game, allowing fans to enjoy its soundtrack outside gameplay. In addition, new Mario Kart World playlists featuring music inspired by Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! have been added to the app.

The company is also running a limited-time promotion for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. Existing subscribers are also eligible for the offer, subject to Nintendo’s terms.
