Superheroes have been around for a long time, and we have always been fascinated by the concept of humans with supernatural abilities, either trying to save the world or destroy it. Heroes that rise from the ashes of destruction to protect the helpless and bring hell upon the usurper.
My Hero Academia is a manga that has made waves within the superhero community with its unique take on the concept. It is the story of a boy with no powers to his name in a world full of superhumans and his journey to becoming the world’s greatest hero. My Hero Academia is a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. The serialization of this manga has been done by Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and there are 36 volumes of this manga.
The story of My Hero Academia is set in the modern-day world where 80% of the population is born with a superpower more commonly known as a quirk. There are a wide variety of quirks that a human can possess, for example, fire manipulation, invisibility, super strength, and many more.
Almost anything that can be conjured up by the mind is a quirk. Among the humans that possess a quirk, those that help the authorities in various duties are given the title of heroes while those who misuse their powers and use them for evil make up the class of villains.
Izuku Midoriya is a young boy who is so much in love with superheroes that it is his entire life. His favorite hero is none other than All Might, the greatest hero in existence. All Might is his idol and the only person Midoriya truly looks up to. But Midoriya is quirkless, and when he finds that out, he sees all his dreams shatter around him.
But Lady Luck smiled upon him when he met his idol, All Might. All Might saw young Midoriya’s potential and chose him as the heir to All Might’s unique power, One For All. Midoriya trained extremely hard day and night trying to become the perfect vessel for the quirk. However, this quirk had to be taken with a grain of salt, as Midoriya quickly found out. If your body is not ready for it, it could destroy you.
Now in possession of a quirk, Midoriya could live his dream and joined the prestigious UA High School for heroes. But he still has little control over his quirk and the story follows Midoriya’s trials and tribulations, his heroics, and the friendships he makes along the way to becoming the World’s Greatest Hero.
My Hero Academia chapter 377 recap
The heroes are planning for a battle against the Paranormal Liberation Front consisting of All For One, Shigaraki, and others. They came up with a plan to separate all the villains so that they could be taken out one by one and feel that this was the best course of action. The villains, too, get ready for the final battle. The day of the fight finally arrives, and class 1-A is relocated to another structure other than UA.
All For One assigns Aoyama the task of separating Midoriya from the others so that they can trap him and steal his quirk. However, Aoyama betrays him just as the heroes arrive through the warp gate. Using the “Troy” defense system, the heroes trap the villains in cages and send them through warp gates.
Todoroki faces Dabi, whose body is a wreck because of the over usage of his quirk. Dabi spills the beans that he wants to destroy his and Todoroki’s family because Endeavor remained the same after Dabi’s alleged death. To which Todoroki replied that he would end Dabi’s madness himself.
