The show follows a powerful family that controls the largest contiguous ranch in the USA and faces numerous challenges as rivals and other roadblocks tend to acquire the land. Ganglands
Ganglands was created by Julien Leclercq and Hamid Hiloua and was released on 24th September 2021. The show follows a veteran armed robber who gets dragged into a war with a powerful narco boss due to a tense situation.
The show is an adaptation of a popular movie titled Braqueurs which was directed by Julien Leclercq. Ganglands only has a single season available, with a total of 6 episodes. The show is accessible to binge on Netflix.
Breaking Bad
Who doesn’t know, or for a matter of fact, love Breaking Bad? The popular show was created by Vince Gilligan and is set in Albuquerque. The show follows an unbelievably intelligent high school chemistry teacher who decides to turn to produce drugs to make some money when he gets diagnosed with the final stage of lung cancer. The teacher partners with an ex-student and goes on through many hardships as he steps into the criminal underworld.
The show gave us some of the most popular, loved, and hyped-up characters, such as Heisenberg, Saul Goodman, Jesse Pinkman, and Gustavo Fring. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were the leading characters in the show, as Walker White/Heisenberg and Jesse Pinkman, respectively, whereas Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, Giancarlo Esposito, and Bob Odenkirk played some other major characters in the series.
Breaking Bad has a total of 62 episodes spread across five seasons. The show has won many laurels over the years, even including an Emmy Award.

Peaky Blinders is another all-time great show that everyone should watch before they leave for the afterlife. The show follows the infamous titular “Peaky Blinders,” a criminal gang that is run by the Shelby family in Birmingham and is set in the aftermath of the First World War.
The show has a total of 36 episodes, which are distributed across six seasons. The first season arrived in 2013, and the final season arrived in April 2022. Peaky Blinders has a shiny star cast, including the likes of Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Anabelle Walls, Iddo Goldberg, Sam Neil, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, and several others.

Westworld was created by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan and premiered on 2nd October 2016. The show has a total of 36 episodes and has 4 seasons. The show takes inspiration from a 1973 movie that shared the same name and was directed by Michael Crichton.
The series starred Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, James Marsden, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, Rodrigo Santoro, Fares Fares, Katja Herbers, Tao Okamoto, Vincent Cassel, and several others as well.
The plot of the series is set in a Wild-West-themed park that is home to “hosts,” an android species. But due to some complications, the robots start to malfunction, and things get quite messy. Westworld is available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar and is recommended for science fiction lovers.
Wynonna Earp
Created by Emily Andras, Wynonna Earp first aired on 1st April 2016. The show has four seasons and 49 total episodes spread across them, with the final season concluding on 9th April 2021. The show focuses on Wynonna, the great-great-granddaughter of a famous lawman, as she battles with various entities when she returns to her hometown. The titular character was played by Melanie Scrofano, whereas Shamier Anderson, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Tim Rozon, and Katherine Barrell were other major members of the cast.
The show was very well received as it was named “Best New Show” of 2016 by El Entertainment Television. The show is of a supernatural horror note and is recommended for a scary-themed weekend.
Big Sky
Big Sky was created by David E. Kelley and was based on “The Highway” series of books which were written by C.J. Box. The show starred Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Brian Geraghty, Valerie Mahaffey, Dedee Pfeiffer, Natalie Alyn Lind, and several others.
The plot of the series is about two detectives who team up to search for the search of two sisters who were kidnapped in Montana. Further investigation reveals that these girls are not the only ones who have been missing, and the series gets even more thrilling.

Tin Star
Tin Star was created by Rowan Joffe and starred Tim Roth, Genevieve O’Reilly, Abigail Lawrie, Oliver Coopersmith, and Christina Hendricks. The series follows Jim Worth, an ex-London detective who gets the role of chief of police in the Rocky Mountains of a Canadian town.
The series first aired on 7th September 2017 and was very well-praised for its thrilling moments. The show has 3 seasons in total and 25 episodes distributed across the 3 seasons. The series concluded with the release of the sixth episode of its third season on 24th December 2020. Tin Star is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Succession
The plot of Succession revolves around a family with a lot of clout in the media sector and a struggle inside the family for control of the family firm. With three seasons and 29 episodes completed, the program is available to watch on HBO Max. A fourth season has also been ordered.
The show has been critically acclaimed and praised for its storyline, its musical score, and especially the performances of the various actors. Succession has also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series (Drama) and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

1883 was created by Taylor Sheridan and premiered on 19th December 2021. 1883 serves as a prequel to Yellowstone and focuses on the origins of the Duttons and the journey they follow to own the land that becomes known as the Yellowstone Ranch.

Mayor of Kingstown
Mayor of Kingstown was first aired on 14th November 2021 and was created by Hugh Dillon and Taylor Sheridan. The series’ plot revolves around a powerful family in Michigan who adopt unorthodox ways to bring law and order to a town.
The show starred Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Hugh Dillon, and several others. The series has so far released only one season consisting of 10 episodes. However, the Mayor of Kingstown has been renewed for a second season which is set for a January 2023 release.

Sacred Games
Sacred Games was released on 6th July 2018 and ran till 15th August 2019. The thriller show was based on a novel written by Vikram Chandra, which was released in 2006 and shared the same name.
The story follows a police officer from a supposedly dead mafia boss who tasks the officer to save the city in which he resides, which will be burned to the ground in 25 days as part of a master plan.
The show cast was headed by Saif Ali Khan as Sartaj Singh, the police officer, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde, the gangster. Other celebrities in prominent roles include Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranvir Shorey, Kalki Koechlin, Girish Kulkarni, Jatin Sarna, and various others.

Justified’s plot follows people residing in the Eastern part of Kentucky and focuses on a mentally focused and strong-willed man who wishes to serve people and do them justice. The show starred Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Jere Burns, and a few more.

Hatfields & McCoys
Hatfields & McCoys was a miniseries that took inspiration from a globally popular Hatfield-McCoy conflict that involved two rural families from the Kentucky area. The show starred Kevin Costner, Tom Berenger, Mare Winningham, Jena Malone, Bill Paxton, Lindsay Pulsipher, and several others as members from the Hatfield and the McCoy families.
There are 3 episodes in the miniseries, and the overall theme of the show was very well appreciated, as viewers kept biting their nails till the end of the last episode, a feat that not many series can do.

The Terminal List was created by David DiGilio and was based on a novel by Jack Carr which shared the same name. The series follows the story of a Navy SEAL on a journey to avenge his family’s murderers.
Chris Pratt was the leading actor in the series, whereas the supporting members included Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Constance Wu, and a few others. Joe Pickett
Joe Pickett was directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. The show starred Michael Dorman as the titular Joe Pickett, a game warden who gets drawn into a conspiracy when a murder victim shows up on his doorstep out of the blue.

The Sandman premiered on 5th August 2022 and has 11 episodes in its first season. The show has taken inspiration from a comic book written by Neil Gaiman, which shares the same title as the series. The Sandman starred Tom Sturridge as the titular character and several other big names, including Gwendoline Christine, David Thewlis, Jenna Coleman, Boyd Holbrook, Patton Oswalt, Vivienne Acheampong, and several others in supporting roles.
The show follows Dream, a god who is imprisoned by a family for numerous decades. As Dream breaks free and returns home, he comes to know that his residence was destroyed as he was not there to protect it and thus begins a journey to rebuild his native place.

The Son
The Son starred the infamous Pierce Brosnan from the James Bond movies as Eli McCullough, an oilman who is kidnapped by a tribe when he is 13. Cut to the present time, and the man has grown into a ruthless oilman who is looking for an heir to his business empire and must choose the one who will succeed him.
The supporting cast included the likes of Henry Garrett, Zahn McClarnon, Jess Weixler, Paola Nunez, Elizabeth Frances, James Parks, and several others. There are two seasons and 20 episodes in all, and the show is a decent choice for a binge-worthy weekend. The Son is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Mirzapur
Mirzapur was created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna and premiered on 16th November 2018. The series is set in Mirzapur, where Akhandanand Tripathi has a monopoly and is the proverbial ruler. But up-and-coming goons Guddu and Bablu challenge his supremacy and thus begins a battle that results in both parties losing significant members.
The show starred Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu, Rasika Duggal, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and a few more as supporting members. Mirzapur has two seasons as of now and has a total of 19 episodes in all. A third season is expected to be released in 2023. Mirzapur is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
