Who doesn’t love a supernatural drama? Vampires, zombies, ghosts, and werewolves have always been fascinating to us. One such drama is Teen Wolf. This American TV show is inspired by the movie Teen Wolf released in 1985. Jeff Davis adapted it into an action series for MTV. Its first episode aired on 5th June 2011. The film featured a maximum of the series cast members in their original roles. The fiction drama features a teen boy Scott McCall based in the fictional town of California. He accidentally becomes a werewolf. Initially, Scott struggles to manage his heightened abilities.

Scott McCall is the main protagonist of the series. Tyler Posey starred in this role. The American actor is famous for his role in the medical drama Doc and the romantic comedy film, Maid in Manhattan. He has won numerous acting awards including Young Artist Award in 2002 and Teen Choice Award in 2012 and 2017.
Now, we will talk about his character, Scott. Scott appeared in the first episode of the series. In this episode, his friend Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) tells him that the police are looking for the dead body of a missing girl. The boys went into the forest to find the body.
But Stiles’s father, Sheriff Stilinski catches him and takes him back. Scott is left in the forest, unaware of the upcoming dangers. A wolf pounced and bite him hard. He managed to save his life but the damage was already done.
Scott had a messy family life. His father Rafe McCall is an FBI agent. Rafe used to drink heavily and fight with his wife Melissa (Melissa Ponzio). As a result, the couple parted ways. Scott’s mother, Melissa raised him alone. She works as a nurse.
Scott had limited athletic capabilities due to asthma. But, his life changes completely after he is bitten by a wolf. He develops superior physical and mental strength. He eventually became the captain of his high school Lacrosse team. But, this was all accompanied by increased aggressive behavior.
His friends, Stiles and Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) helped him balance his new identity with his original life. Derek is a born werewolf who initially did not like Scott. But, later turns out as a valuable friend. Scott’s pack also included were-coyote Malia Tate (Shelley Hennig), kitsune Kira Yukimura (Arden Cho), and beta werewolf Liam Dunbar (Dylan Sprayberry). Scott transformed Liam into a werewolf to save his life. Liam has uncontrollable anger issues.
Scott’s love life also gets complicated when he falls for a girl of werewolf hunters, Allison Argent (Crystal Reed). He also worked as an assistant to Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam). The doctor is a Druid, a link between humans and supernatural creatures. He acts as a mentor for Scott.
What Episode Does Scott Become An Alpha? Everything To Know
Before knowing all the details, let us tell you what an alpha werewolf is. The alpha wolf holds the highest grade in the pack. He possesses the highest level of strength and power. Other wolves can become an Alpha by killing another Alpha.
However, a true Alpha obtains the status through his willpower. Thus, they are one of the rarest werewolves. Usually, Beta and Omega wolves are yellow-eyed. An Alpha wolf has red eyes and special abilities.
Scott was mainly an Omega wolf as he did not have a pack initially. But in season 3, he starts showing the characteristics of an Alpha. Dr. Deaton identifies it and tells him that he is a true Alpha. The 12th episode of the third season showed Scott attaining the status of Alpha. It aired on 19th August 2013. By the end of season 4, Scott mastered the abilities of a True Alpha.
