The strike is a British crime drama series produced by Ben Richards and Tom Edge under the pen name Robert Galbraith, based on J. K. Rowling’s Cormoran Strike detective books. The film was directed by Susan Tully and starred Michael Keillor, Kieron Hawkes, and Charles Sturridge.
Ben Richards, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, J. K. Rowling, Elizabeth Kilgarriff, Tom Edge, and Tommy Bulfin serve as executive producers for the show. C. B. Strike premiered on Cinemax in the United States and HBO Canada in Canada on June 1, 2018. On January 20, 2021, C.B. Strike: Lethal White premiered on HBO.
The plot will be continued from the fourth season, which concluded on an exciting note. Cormoran and Robin got engaged in far-left British politics while investigating the disappearance of a child decades ago. Their personal lives will also play a role in the plot.
Because each Strike series has followed the events of a Strike novel, it is almost certain that the fifth season of the TV show will reflect the plot of Troubled Blood. Cormoran Strike will take on his first cold case after being approached by a lady whose mother went missing more than 40 years ago, according to the Troubled Blood synopsis.
Ben Crompton will portray “Shanker,” Natasha O’Keeffe will play Charlotte Campbell, and Killian Scott will play D.I. Eric Wardle. Ann Akin, D.I., will play Vanessa Ekwensi. Sargon Yelda will play Richard Anstis, and Caitlin Innes Edwards will play Ilsa Herbert.
