Over the years, people worldwide have been fascinated by anime, and the craze is growing every year. Now, with growing popularity, people are fond of the characters from their favorite anime. These anime protagonists have always been flashy and unique with their clothes and hairstyles or style of combat, but they all have one thing in common: their hair color.
Typically, the main protagonist of almost all shōnen anime has black or brown hair. For example, Naruto had brownish blonde hair, then Light Yagami, and even the talk of the current shōnen world, Eren Yeager, has brown hair. Now, this is the protagonist.
About others generally? All these types of anime have an anti-hero or side hero who will have blue hair or darker shades of other primary colors, and you will instantly know from the beginning that this will be an essential character by the color of the hair.
Then we get to see one or two characters in this anime who have absolutely white hair. These are typically the dark horses of the anime, sometimes a teacher or an acquaintance who later becomes friends and even best friends. For example, Kakashi, Killua Zoldyck, Near, Kaneki Ken, Gojo, etc.
Now comes the most interesting part of this shōnen or in general: almost all of these anime have at least one or more girls who have pink hair, and they all have one thing in common: they get saved by the hero/heroes multiple times or is the love of the hero.
Fans worldwide have drooled over these pink-haired anime girls over the years and continue to do so because they are beautiful and are often written in a “damsel in distress” type of way, who is often in need of saving.
At the same time, these pink-haired girls are infamous for getting the most hate in these animes by the fans and are referred to as “useless” over the years. Now, do you love it or hate it? They play a crucial role in the animes from time to time.

1. Mei Hatsume
