Recap of Your Honor Season 2
Episode 1
Michael (Bryan Cranston) is released from prison after making a deal with the US attorney, and the episode follows the aftermath of Adam’s death from the perspectives of all the characters. Fia (Lilli Kay) is still in shock, and Gina (Hope Davis) helps her recover. Nancy (Amy Landecker) is worried about Adam, and Michael has a surreal dream of all the prisoners being used as entertainment bait. Young Mo (Troy Anthony) lets Eugene (Chris Brown) go with the help of Big Mo (Andrene Ward-Hammond), who is not happy with the decision.
Meanwhile, Olivia Delmont (Rosie Perez) visits Michael in prison and offers him a deal to expunge his taped confession in exchange for his cooperation in her investigation. In the episode’s wildest sequence, Michael volunteers to participate in a prison rodeo where he and three other inmates play “convict poker,” a game of life and death.
Episode 2
Michael, released from prison, attempts to adjust to life outside of prison. He meets his old friend Charlie, who is struggling with the new perception people have of an incarcerated individual. Olivia, a federal prosecutor, recruits Michael to help her take down the Baxter family in exchange for his freedom.
Michael is now a delivery driver for a butcher shop. Fia, who now lives at the hotel, tells Michael that she wishes she could have asked Adam more about life after death. Jimmy is angry and frustrated after his daughter ignores him. Big Mo watches his girlfriend singing in a bar and pulls the rest of the drugs from the streets.
While attending a grief support group, Gia upsets the other attendees. Michael visits Elizabeth’s house, and she offers him her guest room. He also attempts to visit Charlie’s office, but he is barred. Eugene, who is residing with Mo’s aunt, is visited by little Mo.
When the detective in charge of his case visits Michael, the pressure on him increases. Gia’s visit to Fia doesn’t go well. Gina admits that she feels at ease with being angry in the grief support group.
Michael is introduced to Rocco Adam Baxter – Adam’s son and his grandson. Charlie is hesitant but ultimately chooses to assist Big Mo in buying the club. He disrespects her and her decision to give it to a black owner but is eventually convinced by Olivia to help. Charlie sees Michael at the butcher shop and expresses his love and need for his best friend.
As they step outside for a heart-to-heart, they discuss how Michael is struggling with the new perception of an incarcerated individual. After being released from prison, Michael strolls around a neighborhood. He stares at a family playing and arrives at Elizabeth’s house. Elizabeth offers him her guest room, and Michael has a conversation with Fia.
