Journey’s End
With its many mixed attitudes, class credits, and characters who easily could have been mere world war clichés, Journey’s End does a fantastic job of capturing the soul of Sherriff’s play in motifs and characterization. This is especially true given the complexity of the characters in the play.
It is really done with Sam Claflin standing out for his deeply somber and unfortunate narrative of the troubled character Stanhope, who fits as a powerful example of how persons who have seen war and been injured by it might act.
Osborne is portrayed by Paul Bettany with a lot of sympathetic authority, conforming as the unifying force that keeps everything in place. If you love war movies, then you should definitely check out this movie. It will keep you entertained and make sure to appreciate the war idols.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1
Mocking Jay Part 1 is the third movie in the franchise of the fourth movie. The tale begins where the last film left off, with Katniss feeling bitter that she was rescued rather than Peeta and the other tributes.
The plot of this film about war and what it means molds swiftly, with an overarching theme of Katniss’ PTSD and the effects of the games on her. Jennifer Lawrence represents this complex essence admirably and gives a wonderful performance. She returned to District 12 in one of the most vivid incidents.
The whole franchise is well perpetrated, from the story to the actors and the visual showcase of technology and videography, and all were very good. You should definitely watch this movie franchise.

- Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and Others

Adrift
Adrift was shocking at times but very realistic. Maybe the most challenging movie-making involves underwater or in a tank. I considered Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin to be a good fit in the movie, at least. I think this movie presents Shailene’s solid acting chops.
Despite being only 24 years old and not having that many incidents, she gave the impression of being a good sailor. As the hurricane strikes and Claflin is injured, it falls to Woodley’s protagonist to help keep the two of them safe until aid arrives. At the beginning of the movie, Claflin is his normal charming self.
It is amazing to watch a movie about the human spirit that doesn’t rely much on spectacular effects. Both the plot and the film were stunning. It was actually interesting because of the way memories and the present were woven together, as well as the way dramatic and unexpected aspects were used. That well articulated the depths of affection.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
The film’s story revolves around the hunt for Ponce de Leon’s ship and the coveted Fountain of Youth. Sparrow, Blackbeard, the Spaniards, and Barbossa, working on behalf of King George, are in a race.
It’s not always clear which characters are allies and which are contenders, as it always is. The plurality of the pursuit scenes and action sequences were shot in poor lighting conditions. All the action scenes lacked that particular something, except for the captivating and terrifying mermaid sequence and the initial pursuit.
Don’t get me wrong, it is a fun movie, but sometimes it just shies away from the other pirate movies. It is a common trait that happens in movies that have three or four movies under the same name. It is full of entertainment, fun, and adventure. Check it out.

Their Finest
Their Finest, which is based on a novel by Lissa Evans and was adapted for the screen by Gaby Chiappe, is a fantastic short film about producing a movie under pressure and the relationships between the actors, stuntmen, and cameramen.
It is also a potent jab at British perceptions of Americans, not just in the 1940s but even now. It’s a mirthful anecdote about the process of writing a script. In essence, they engaged Catrin Cole to recount the war’s tale from the standpoint of women, focusing on the authentic report of a set of twins who tried to use their boat to rescue soldiers in France.
It is a very good movie one should watch to get an idea about filmmaking. Sam and Gemma are the true stars of the movie, and the direction by Lone Scherfig sews an ideal film.

- IMDB Score: 6.8
- Cast: Gemma Arterton, Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, Jack Huston, and Others

Love, Rosie
Several romantic drama comedies share the same deficiencies as Love, Rosie, including a predictable conclusion and a number of inevitable clichés and plot devices. The ups and downs of their relationships are illustrated in the film, along with how they have affected their friendship through time.
In some cases, things didn’t turn out the way you expected them to, which is both unexpected and energetic. The main characters give endearing, appealing performances, and there are many uplifting and funny gags sprayed in the movie.
Despite its flaws, the movie is successful in capturing the hearts and souls of its characters for the viewer to connect with. It’s a magnetic, heartwarming movie that doesn’t let you down and is definitely worth seeing.

The Nightingale
The Nightingale, written and directed by Jennifer Kent, occurs to be a usual genre film: a rape/revenge drama set on a faux-western stage. Anyhow, as it goes on, it unhurriedly evolves clear that it is less interested in adhering to genre conventions and more interested in tackling topics like racism, sexism, the thin line between cruelty and civilization, and the cathartic power of retaliation.
Beautifully filmed in Tasmania’s wilderness, this movie features amazing night shots and a commonly bleak, washed-out aesthetic. This, along with the lovely and eerie soundtrack, wonderfully complements the melancholy tone of the book. It could be a hard watch because of the plot and reality of Australian history; watch it to find out.

United
The film, which was written and directed by Chris Chilbail, attempts to depict the real-life events surrounding Manchester United’s “Busby Babes” soccer squad before and after the 1958 Munich air tragedy.
Regrettably, the film falls short of doing that because it lacks funding. There is very little action in the film. Despite being a movie about soccer players, not a single football game is shown. This movie inspired, moved, and surprised me. Absolutely worth seeing.
The movie inspires you to research Munich online and validates Manchester United’s status as one of the greatest clubs ever, particularly in this era of wealthy owner club buyouts. This movie is a must-watch for all football fans.

Me Before You
A stunningly well-made film follows Louisa, portrayed by Emilia Clarke, a 26-year-old who finds work caring for Will, played by Sam Claflin, a young millionaire who is confined to a wheelchair permanently due to an accident two years prior that also left him without the use of his arms and legs.
Louisia does her best to put up with Will at first, even though he initially does not want her there. The contrast between the two could not be greater, yet as they say, like attracts like. And when Will and Lou spend time together, exactly this occurs.
They both benefit from one another’s knowledge and support one another through life. This film is delightful to see and offers a taste of what it’s like to live your life with a sense of ethics, an open mind, tolerance for ideas that differ from your own, and a desire to see the best in others.
A must-watch, in my opinion, just because of the hidden message and the cast that delivers it beautifully. If you loved Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones and want to see her in another role, then definitely check it out.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Just after Katniss and Peeta successfully complete the games, the movie picks up. They will now be fed and entertained while being paraded around for public appearances. But Katniss is unsure of why the President, played by Donald Sutherland, is upset.
Catching Fire ultimately strikes the valid melody and has a wiser perspective. The first movie was comforting, but it narrowly dismayed to relate what the tales’ real purpose was beyond appreciating how the games were played. This follow-up filled in the gaps surrounding the location and presented a far more compelling tale.
All in all, as I have mentioned before, it is a good series, and all the actors did a great job. It is one of those franchise people should watch once in a lifetime.

My Cousin Rachel
Philip Ashley, played by Sam Claflin, a young fellow from a Cornish landowning family, is the main character. Ambrose, Philip’s elder cousin, has raised him as his adoptive father because he is an orphan.
Ambrose meets and marries Rachel while going to Italy, and he subsequently passes away under strange circumstances. Rachel is both his and Philip’s half-Italian cousin. We have been given facts in the story that challenges the reader to continuously reconsider if the unnamed relative is a cruel, cunning, and malicious person or is completely mistaken and misunderstood.
Rachel Weisz gives a fantastic performance in My Cousin Rachel that allows us to accept both explanations with equal trust. Although it seems less aesthetically spectacular than some period dramas, the movie is well-filmed and pays close attention to historical detail.

Snow White And The Huntsman
Sam’s part in The Hunger Games brought him on the radar, but in reality, and it was the character of Snow White and the Huntsman, prince William that began his acting career. This franchise of two movies took a hit on the classic Snow White story from Disney.
In the first movie, Kristen Stewart plays Snow White, while Charlize Theron plays Ravenna, the evil stepmother who actually drains women’s beauty to keep herself young and strong. The Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth, is charged with locating Snow White after she escapes Ravenna’s custody.
William comes in around halfway through the movie, and the two men engage in combat to defend their princess. Although his part in the franchise doesn’t equate to the main role screen time, the movies verified Claflin’s ability to play a hero in shining armor, the part that, irrespective of the genre.

Peaky Blinders
Now you must be wondering this list has movie then why Peaky Blinders is on the list. Just hear me out. Sam Claflin‘s role in the show was too good to miss out on the list. Razor blades sewed into the tops of their caps have made the Shelby family, who controls the gang, the most recognizable members of the group.
Thomas Shelby, the leader of Peaky Blinders, is portrayed by Cillian Murphy in the starring role. Tommy wants to make honest money, but the Shelby brothers are a gang of individuals who are notorious for engaging in diverse forbidden sports. 2019 saw Claflin join the cast of the popular program for its fifth and sixth seasons.
He portrays Oswald Mosley, a colorful figure who is known as “the Devil” to the Peaky Blinders despite having several other names. He deems the role of the major foe, and boy, does he rock it.
- Released in: 2013
- IMDB Score: 8.8

The Riot Club
At Oxford University, Alistair, played by Sam Claflin, and Miles, played by Max Irons, both aristocrats with either covert or overt class biases, start their first term. They are desirable candidates for the notorious Riot Club because of their social position.
Mystery surrounds the exclusive, secret organization that has a deeper link than the Masons, with a maximum membership of 10 at any given moment. This is a voyeuristic peek through a filthy window into an act of blatant cruelty and wanton disregard at the cost of everyone who isn’t, or wasn’t, a member of The Riot Club.
These are disgusting, annoying boys who grew up on an advert of hatred and traded their infractions for felonies like theft, violence, and rape. While most naughty boys believe they can get away with eating fresh apples, skipping school, and firing catapults at defenseless, harmless animals, they are loathsome, annoying boys who grew up on a campaign of hatred.

The Lost Fortune
In the distant future, a tribe of humans must hunt in order to survive. In a pandemic, coming into contact with a carrier of the illness would cause humans to mutate into half-beasts. Three of them will get assistance when a group of these barbarians lays siege to the tribe.
The minimal special effects in The Lost Future are done with care, and the pictures are beautifully taken. While the screenplay has the occasional clichéd moment, it is largely amusing, and the tale has a brilliant premise that is delivered and developed better than you would anticipate.
In fact, this story truly has the impression that it was created with passion. Overall it is a decent watch. Do not barge in with high expectations from the movie.

The Corrupted
This is the tale of Liam, laid by Sam Claflin, a man who, after being released from jail, only wants to live a tranquil life and get back in touch with his little kid. He finds that property mogul Clifford Cullen has his brother entangled in a perilous web of wrongdoing, played by Timothy Spall.
Liam risks everything in his quest for atonement in order to save his brother and regain the faith of his family. The plot took many turns, and you were never quite sure where it was heading. The performance was excellent, and the action parts were excellent.
The movie had a clearly limited budget, but in this instance, it wasn’t always a negative thing. It is an entertaining movie that keeps you hooked on the quirks of the flick.
