Ohh…. the way The Boys Season 3 Episode 4 started, we thought it wouldn’t be better than the first three episodes of this season, but after we watched the entire episode, we were like, DAMNNN. There were a lot of WOW moments in this episode, and each one of them was top tier. After a long time, we watched such an episode where after completing the episode, we had to pause for a minute so that we could digest what the f*** did we just watch. You know that amazing feeling that you get when you watch something that blows your mind, it was like that after watching this episode.
Homelander is just climbing the ladder of power and control over everyone. The newest member of the seven (who became an ex-member the same day), Supersonic, just wanted to help a friend, but he didn’t know who to trust and who to not. Deep and A-Train are racing each other over who kisses Homeland’s A** more. Soldier boy is now free and has a new additional power. Butcher used V24 again, and this time, Hughie also took it to feel the power. He was quite enjoying it.
The Boys Season 3 Episode 4 Review
Butcher is still struggling with the consequences of his use of V to gain temporary superpowers. Meanwhile, Hughie is attempting to find a method to stop working for Victoria Neuman after learning that she possesses superhuman abilities and has killed a large number of people. A strategy is being formed from within the structure to take this evil version of Superman, aside from what The Boys are up to in their continuous mission to take down Vought and Homelander in especially. However, it’s unclear whether that strategy is working.
In this episode, the back-and-forth between Homelander, who is becoming increasingly evil as the series progresses, and the group led by Starlight comes into focus. In some ways, it seems that things are moving in the direction of ending Homelander’s terror campaign. The fact that Edgar is committing Vought’s resources on bringing Homelander down a little bit appears to be a good thing overall. Homelander, on the other hand, seems to have the most significant advantage he’s had since the show began.

Way To Kill Homelander
Once again, the possibility that someone might have the secret weapon to stop Homelander is snatched away at the last time, as it turns out that Homelander is far more powerful than anyone suspected, in ways they couldn’t have imagined. The story continues to do an excellent job of making him appear naive in various ways, just to reveal that he is always one step ahead of everyone else. As a result, the show answers the question, “What if Superman was evil?” Homelander is a Superman who loves inflicting pain on others.
Of course, the show does provide a ray of light for those who believe there is a way to bring Homelander down completely. The writers of The Boys should also be commended for providing the answer to how the show’s Big Bad may be defeated without revealing it openly. For the time being, there hasn’t been a situation in which one of the heroes has stated, “That’s how we bring him down.” Instead, it’s presented as a type of hint, implying that it might take Butcher and his team some time to realize just what they’ve come across.
Some Other Aspects
Since the Amazon Prime series never focuses on just one plot or mystery, viewers are left wondering what Victoria is up to with her daughter. Is she using the bottle of compound V Homelander gave her to give her daughter powers, or does she already have powers and want to get rid of them? There are hints in both directions, but for the time being, that stays one of the well-executed wonders that the viewers will have to come in next week to find out.
In the midst of all of this plotting and thinking, The Boys also manages to be absolutely absurd. This time, there’s a sequence in which a hamster is handed superpowers, but it wouldn’t be The Boys if the creature didn’t play a role in the drama in some unusual manner. The Amazon Prime show has long been regarded as a master class in blending great storytelling with events and images designed solely to surprise and horrify the audience. While the super hamster is unquestionably one of them.
We didn’t want this episode to end, we just wanted it to go on and on. Now we have to wait for a week now, we can’t wait to see the next episode. Also, we are near to the Herogasm Episode (Episode 6), we want to see just how they show a superhero orgy.
