Pocketpair has rolled out Palworld v1.0.2, delivering a new round of bug fixes following the game’s full 1.0 launch earlier this month. The update primarily targets mission progression problems, achievement tracking, and multiplayer stability, while also resolving issues affecting two major boss encounters.
According to Pocketpair’s official patch notes, the latest update addresses several gameplay problems that players encountered after the game’s full release.
Major boss fight and mission fixes arrive
One of the most significant improvements affects the Panthalus boss battle in co-op. Before the patch, some players were disconnected or even experienced game crashes while fighting the boss in a friend’s world. Version 1.0.2 resolves these multiplayer issues, allowing co-op sessions to continue normally.
Pocketpair also fixed a bug where Victor & Shadowbeak could disappear from their arena after teleporting, preventing the encounter from progressing correctly.

Beyond boss fights, the update removes a softlock affecting The First Islander and Captured Adventurer missions when players skipped dialogue during transition sequences. Achievement tracking has also been improved, with fixes for the Predator Hunter achievement, Pal Effigy achievements across all platforms, and Lifmunk Effigy achievement issues on Xbox.
The patch also introduces quality-of-life improvements, including better key binding options that preserve previous settings and visual fixes for The World Tree region.
While the update doesn’t add new content, it continues Pocketpair’s post-launch support by addressing stability and progression issues reported by the community. Palworld v1.0.2 is available now across all supported platforms.
