S.Coups
Hailing from Daegu, S.Coups’ full name is Choi Seung Cheol. Being a 95-liner, S.Coups’ birthday falls on August 5. As a member of SEVENTEEN, S.Coups serves as the leader, hip-hop team leader, rapper, and sub vocalist of the group. After getting noticed by Pledis Entertainment’s staff while shopping in 2010, the idol went on to get trained for over 6 years before debuting. He was supposed to debut in TEMPEST, but the plan fell through. In July 2021, S.Coups had to halt promotions due to a shoulder injury.
Jeonghan
Hailing from Hwaseong, Jeonghan’s full name is Yoon Jeong Han. Being a 95 liner, Jeonghan’s birthday is on October 4. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Jeonghan serves as the lead vocalist and visuals of the group. After a staff member noticed him at a shopping center and asked him to perform, the idol’s whole life changed. He went on to join Pledis Entertainment in 2013 and trained for over two years and two months. He can also play bass guitar. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Joshua’s full name is Joshua Hong. Being a 95-liner, December 30. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Joshua serves as the lead vocalist and visuals of the group. While performing in an event at K-town in LA, a Pledis Entertainment discovered Joshua in 2013. Before his debut, he went on to train for two years and two months. He can speak five different languages and is a big fan of EXOL and anime. His favorite anime include One Piece, Naruto, & Bleach.
Jun
Hailing from Shenzhen, China, Jun’s full name is Wen Junhui. Being a 96-liner, Jun’s birthday is on June 10. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Jun serves as the lead dancer and sub vocalist of the group. Before becoming an idol, he used to be a small-time child actor in Chine and is also well-versed in martial arts. While hanging out with his friends in front of a convenience store in China, Jun was scouted by a Pledis Entertainment staff member. Joining the company in 2012, he trained for over two years and seven months. From September to December 2021, Jun & The8 focused on their activities in China.
Hoshi
Hailing from Namyangju-si, South Korea, Hoshi’s full name is Kwoon Soo Young. Being a 96-liner, Hoshi’s birthday is on June 15. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Hoshi serves as the performance team leader, main dancer, lead vocalist, and sub rapper. Before making his debut as an idol, Hoshi used to be a part of a dance crew called Deep Blue. After being noticed by a Pledis Entertainment staff member, Hoshi was invited to join the company. Wonwoo
Hailing from Changwon, South Korea, Wonwoo’s full name is Jeon Won Woo. Being a 96-liner, Wonwoo’s birthday is on July 17. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Wonwoo serves as the rapper and sub-vocalist of the group. Wonwoo was the first member to traditional audition at Pledis Entertainment. Passing the auditions, he went on to join the company in 2001. After training for four years, he went on to make his debut as well. In several variety shows, including Weekly Idol, he likes to call himself the member with the lowest voice in Seventeen. Woozi
Hailing from Busan, Woozi’s full name is Lee Ji Hoon. Being a 96-liner, Woozi’s birthday falls on November 22. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Woozi serves as the vocal team leader, lead vocalist, and producer of the group. Before starting as an idol, Woozi used to study and play classical music. Hailing from Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, DK, or Dokyeom’s full name is Lee Seok Min. Being a 97-liner, DK’s birthday falls on February 18. As a member of SEVENTEEN, DK serves as the main vocalist of the group. He’s also dubbed as Seventeen’s Happy Virus. After working on his vocals, he went on to audition for Pledis Entertainment. After getting accepted in 2012, he went on to train for over two years and seven months before his debut. On December 23, 2021, DK went on to make his solo debut with the song ‘You’re My Christmas’. He also played the role of King Arthur in the musical “Xcalibur”.
Mingyu
Hailing from Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, Mingyu’s full name is Kim Min Gyu. Being a 97-liner, Mingyu’s birthday falls on April 6. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Mingyu serves as the rapper, sub-vocalist, visual, and face of the group. Thanks to his striking visuals, the idol was discovered by an agent while going back home from school. Becoming a trainee in 2011, the idol went on to train for over four years. Standing at 6ft 1 in, he is also the tallest member of the group. Along with music, he’s also the in-charge of hairstyling for fellow group members. Mingyu is also part of the infamous ’97-liners group’.

Hailing from Haicheng, Liaoning, China, The8’s full name is Xu Ming Hao. Being a 97-liner, The8’s birthday falls on November 7. As a member of SEVENTEEN, The8 serves as the lead dancer, sub vocalist, and sub rapper of the group. Before becoming an idol trainee at Pledis Entertainment in 2013, the idol used to perform b-boying in China. After learning dance at Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, the agency discovered him during one of his performances. Trained for a year and 5 months, he has the shortest training period out of all of SEVENTEEN members. He also served as a dance mentor on season 2 of “Idol Producer”.
Seungkwan
Hailing from Jeju, Seungkwan’s full name is Boo Seung Kwan. Being a 98-liner, Seungkwan’s birthday falls on January 16. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Seungkwan serves as the main vocalist and face of the group. The idol was discovered after his teacher posted his singing video on the internet. Getting noticed by Pledis Entertainment’s staff, the idol went on to audition privately. After training for over three years and two months, Seungkwan made his debut with the boy group. He received an audition from JYP Entertainment, but he rejected the offer. As a rookie, he has won several awards on variety shows.

Dino
Hailing from Iksan, Jeollakbu-do, South Korea, Dino’s full name is Lee Chan. Being a 99-liner, Dino’s birthday falls on February 11. As a member of ‘SEVENTEEN,’ Dino serves as the main dancer, sub vocalist, and sub rapper of the group. Coming from a family of dancers, Dino learned to dance from his father. He was discovered at a dance competition. After becoming an idol trainee in 2012 for three years, Dino went on to make his debut with SEVENTEEN under Pledis Entertainment.
