Anyone who has read JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures will agree that it is not your usual, run-of-the-mill manga. You will never read anything quite as unique as JoJo’s as it is a class apart when it comes to the storyline as well as the art style. What you won’t find here is the “hero beats villain after getting stronger” narrative but instead you will have to bear the brunt of seeing the good guy die.
The initial story stretches over generations before the villain is finally defeated and each tale is quite an epic fun ride. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures consist of nine parts as of 2023 and while the first six parts are based on the first story, the last three parts are set in a different timeline.
Let’s get to know a bit more about JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures. JoJo’s takes place in the real world with elements of fantasy and superpowers. The superpower that some people in the JoJo universe possess is called a “stand”. It is drawn out by using one’s spiritual capacity.
The whole manga is divided into different parts and each part has a different protagonist and is an independent story. The first story is about Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando and the five stories that follow it are based on the conflict that started with Jonathan and Dio and is carried on for several next generations.
However, the last three stories are set in a different universe than the first six but they all share the same name, Joestar. JoJolands is the ninth installation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures manga and Shueisha serialized it in Ultra Jump magazine. The story takes place in present-day Hawaii and follows the journey of two Joestars, Jodio and his brother, Dragona.

Plot of JoJ0lands
The plot of JoJolands goes like this. Dragona is traveling a road in Oahu with his younger brother, Jodio when they were stopped by two police officers. One of the officers approached the truck they were traveling in and asks Dragona to come out to search him. But this was actually because Dragona, though a boy, dresses up as a rather attractive woman.
The officer, under the pretense of searching Dragona, molests him. Seeing this, Jodio comes to his brother’s rescue, and the two siblings use their “Stands”(Superpower) and defeat the officers and they carry out the deal they made with a couple of drug lords.
The story is mainly about Jodio’s journey to becoming rich, which is his dream. The name of his stand is November Rain while his brothers’ is called, Smooth Operator. One day, November Rain, Smooth Operator and a man called Paco Laburantes go see Meryl May Qi, who is the school principal as well as their boss.
She gives them missions and tasks to complete, which are all rather shady. For their latest task, Meryl tells them about a Japanese tourist who has landed in Hawaii and they have a precious, one-of-a-kind diamond in their hands that is worth millions. She asks the three of them along with a fourth member to steal it and bring it to her.

How To Read J0Jolands Chapters?
Since JoJolands is the latest story in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures collection, only the first chapter has been released so far. As we already know, this ninth part is serialized in Ultra Jump magazine and the date on which the serialization started was February 17th, 2023.
The good news for Japanese fans or anybody who knows how to read the language is that JoJolands can be bought from Amazon Japan, Rakuten, and several other online bookstores. The digital version can also be bought online. To see which stores sell the manga, simply visit the official site of Ultra Jump.
However, the bad news is that plans of releasing the official English version have not yet been announced. But let’s not fall into despair just yet! The English version will most probably come sooner than expected as the previous Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stories have been released in Viz Media and it has been selling really well.
Viz Media will most likely bring JoJolands to its American readers pretty soon but right now, there is no legal way to read the series online as not even Ultra Jump provides online reading. Though English-translated chapters may be found online on various sites, these are all illegal and we urge our readers to support the author by reading only from official sources.
