Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13 sees Dwight and Sherry taking a big step in their life as well as we head towards the war with Strand for the tower. For the past few episodes, Morgan had held on trying to build a strategy against Strand’s tower. One of the key reasons he held back was baby Mo who was with Strand. That was all until Dorie Sr. decided to make some moves.
Dorie Sr. took baby Mo and escaped the tower amidst the walkers around. While Dorie Sr. sacrificed his life, Morgan took charge of the baby. On top of that, he decided to let the walkers follow him so he could draw them away from Strand. Thus leaving the tower unguarded. Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13 sees Sherry preparing a raft for escape until Dwight radioed in. A woman signaled an SOS call, and Dwight responded. The woman was not from around here and came through the waters on a raft. She was looking for her son, and she believed the tower was the best place according to the message going on the radio. Dwight directs her to the tower, which leaves Sherry questioning him.
Morgan radios in, stating that he needs help. He is drawing the walkers from Strand’s Moat away. He believes Strand feels safe around these walkers. Once they are away, that’s the chance they need to attack the tower. Dwight and Sherry soon arrive to take baby Mo from Morgan, but soon they are attacked by Strand’s Rangers.

Morgan had asked Sherry and Dwight to take baby Mo to the sub. But Luciana’s’ message came in stating that the radiation is leaking into the sub, and they are evacuating. During their stay at a car wash, Dwight finds out that Sherry has been preparing a raft for escape. An escape not for her but for Dwight until Wes interrupted them.
Dwight and Sherry managed to escape and came across Teddy’s bunker. They hid there for a while, and Sherry came to confess that she might be pregnant. Wes and his rangers followed in, but Sherry tripped an alarm attracting the walkers. Sherry and Dwight decided to escape through a tunnel.
For a minute, they saw their end coming with the tunnel falling apart. But after taking a look at Sherry’s pregnancy test and realizing she is indeed pregnant, the couple didn’t lose hope. They managed to get out and reunited with Morgan and Alicia.
Amidst all of this, Morgan and Alicia connected with each other again as they brought Strand’s walkers to Teddy’s bunker. The episode came to a close, with Morgan leaving on a raft to take baby Mo to a safer place. Alicia prepared for the battle, and Sherry is planning to use her pregnancy against Strand.
Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13 Review
Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13 saw the show moving into unnecessary conflicts for the sake of the tower. At this point, the tower’s utility is something we hardly know. But anyway, that’s the goal for the characters as they bring the war to Strand, which is pretty close to happening now. Especially with Strand’s walkers moved away.
For the most part of the thirteenth episode of Fear The Walking Dead Season 7, Dwight and Sherry’s relationship was the focus. It was about to take a big new step, and it was hinted at right from the beginning of the episode. But it had a nonsensical build-up that finally came to the point that Sherry’s pregnant.
Dwight and Sherry wanted to live further. So they had to get out of that bunker, and now they want to use this pregnancy against Strand. The episode came to a close bidding adieu to the most important character amidst this battle.
Morgan was actually going to be the big head against Strand. But the show seems to be either writing him off or waiting around for a big return during the battle. Right now, it will be Alicia taking care of the situation, and the coming episode may see the beginning of the war.
