Turns out that a huge fissure has actually opened on the Earth’s surface and now everyone is trying to decode the mystery behind it all.
Although, the secret of the dragons is revealed to a few kids who come across them while they are in hiding. Although, this also gives them the huge responsibility of keeping the whole thing under wraps in order to protect the creatures from scientists and whatnot.
Back in the last episode of Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 4, we saw that the dragon riders found that Thunder and his family had been hiding. Turns out that Hiccup and his family are Thunder’s ancestors.
Olivia, on the other hand, is trying to get to the bottom of Tom’s secret. She also cuts off Wilma from the investigation. As for the group, they are in huge trouble as Snow Wraith attacks again. All the riders have now lost their dragons.
Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 4 Recap
Tom is feeling particularly guilty for dragging Snow Wraith into the King’s Realm and thinks it’s his fault. Well, the group tries to make him understand that he should rather fix his mistake than whine about it. Thus, Tom creates a few traps in order to stun Snow Wraith and paralyze him.
But another Snow Wraith arrives to protect the first one, and the whole operation goes wrong. Turns out that they end up attacking Thunder’s family instead. Now that Thunder is in no condition to fight, Tom instead goes on Night Light to fight the Snow Wraith until Thunder regains his energy.
He then uses his lightning sword to focus the lightning from Thunder and Elder, which creates a blast and drives off the Snow Wraith. By the end of the season, we see that the Elder Night Light accepts that Tom and Thunder are a perfect pair for each other, and thus, it lets Thunder stay with him and Tom become his dragon rider. They are very happy to have their friend back, but Olivia finds them out.

Dragons: The Nine Realms Season 5 Episodes 1 and 2 release date is on the 2nd of March 2022. The episodes are titled Punishment and Torcher and Welcome to the Wonderful World of Dragons, respectively. They will both drop out on Hulu and Peacock. New episodes will start streaming online every week in a pair from this point forth.

Episode 2 – Welcome to the Wonderful World of Dragons – Olivia is not sure if the Dragons are safe for Tom or the rest of the world. Thus, in order to convince her, Tom will be planning a safe tour of the Realms. But well, when have things ever gone as planned for him?
