The upcoming, thrilling Sanditon Season 3 is poised to adorn your screens again. We saw that in the previous season finale, Tom and Arthur confronted Colonel Lennox to uphold the name of their family. The relationship between Charlotte and Alexander also undergoes a significant transformation.

In the last season, Charlotte reveals to Alison and Georgiana the underlying cause of Colonel Lennox and Alexander’s animosity. Instead, he gives her a farewell gift that she can accept later. Alexander and Charlotte’s other romantic moment is interrupted when Mrs. Wheatley informs them of Leonora’s absence. The little one visits the army base and looks for Colonel Lennox. Charlotte asks the captain if he is her father because she is still upset by Alexander’s revelation.

Below is a summary of the season 2 finale
Thankfully, Alexander and Charlotte find out through Augusta and come to the camp to get Leonora. At the same time, Colonel Lennox, who is shocked, categorically denies any responsibility for the child to her. So at Denham Estate, Esther’s insanity increases, and the doctor advises that she be admitted to a hospital.
Edward, who is jubilant, intends to have Clara poison her to death. Clara recognizes his self-interested objectives, too, and concludes that he is merely using her and George as leverage to obtain the money Lady Denham promised them. She exposes his entire plot on their wedding day and defends Esther.
Esther defends Clara and accepts her repentance as Lady Denham, who is enraged, prepares to chastise them. After that, Clara quietly leaves Sanditon and gives Esther custody of George. Esther is thrilled to have George join her household. On the other hand, Edward is demoted from the army since he doesn’t pay his dues.
Thus, he must accept the punishment of being Lady Denham’s employee and being entirely at her disposal. To preserve the good name of the Parker family, Tom teams up with Arthur to see Colonel Lennox and insist the shopkeepers be paid.
Tom calls the colonel to a poker match and places a bet that if the colonel succeeds, he will repay the shop owners immediately; however, if he wins, the military must settle all of their debts and leave Sanditon permanently. Tom is prepared to graciously tip the entrepreneurs with the profits after a tough game of cards.
Ultimately, General Lennox and his men pack up and move for their next mission in India. Colonel Lennox and Alexander begin arguing verbally about Lucy. The colonel mocks him about Charlotte and implies that he might ruin her life like he ruined his late wife’s.
Alexander cannot express love or joy for Charlotte and worries that history may repeat itself, which puts him in a difficult moral stance. But when she goes after him the next day, he pushes her away and informs her that he views her as an employee.
Alexander is eager to tell her how he feels when he visits the Parkers’ home, but he struggles. Charlotte takes offense to his comments and thinks he wants her back as the girl’s babysitter. Alexander departs when Charlotte rejects his offer, sadly leaving many things unanswered between them.
Within a month, she completely gives up on dating, but two months later, she marries Ralph Sterling, the man her father had initially chosen for her. Alexander, grieving, decides he wants a change of scenery, so he travels to London around the same time as Augusta and Leonora.
