With the war initially not going in Daenerys’ favor, viewers were soon taken aback after she managed to burn hundreds of Lannister soldiers alive without considering the lives of innocent people.
Daenerys justified her actions by explaining how the people are also guilty of treason as they are fighting for their evil Queen Cersei, given how they do not have much choice in the matter. Even after the battle, Daenerys offers Randall and Dickon Tarly a place in her team but vehemently refuses and meets a similar fate!
Daenerys Targaryen’s fall as the Mad Queen is pretty much established after she ruthlessly burns Lannister’s armies and thousands of innocent people. Madness seems to be a running issue as Dany’s father, Aerys II Targaryen, was also known as the Mad King. The episode’s director, Miguel Sapochnik, explained how Daenerys set out for King’s Landing in order to seek revenge against Cersei Lannister. However, she gets agitated after she faces defeat with Vloodshed on her side and is almost on the verge of losing the war.

Miguel explained Daenerys’ feelings as she felt empty as it was not what she thought it was, and it was not enough for her. Clarke also sheds some light on her character, saying how with every single thing that led Daenerys to this point, she did reach there but found herself all alone.
What Happened To Daenerys In Game Of Thrones?
Daenerys Targaryen died in the end after her nephew Jon Snow killed her after she ruthlessly destroyed the King’s Landing. Emilia Clarke, who played the role of Daenerys in the hit HBO series, admitted that she was not quite on board with her character’s end in the show.
Clarke stated that she felt for Daenerys and was admittedly annoyed at how Jon Snow, as she felt like he did not have to deal with anything and got away with murder!
