During World War II, the US selected talented women from all over the country to form a cryptoanalysis list to analyze classified communications. Time passed, and in modern Japan, a new school got established to deal with the next great war, and this school was the Cipher Academy.
Cipher Academy is a Japanese manga series about a boy named Iroha who has been admitted into the academy and is required to crack complex codes every single time to be worthy enough to be of use in the subsequent upcoming wars. Iroha finds it very exhausting to solve all these codes until he meets Kogoe, who gives him an unusual pair of glasses that has a mystery hidden behind them.
While Iroha tries to return the glasses to Kogoe, he gets new codes assigned by Kogoe to solve, only to find out by him that the reason that all the girls are lying about their objective of studying in the academy, but the main aim is the hidden fortune being buried deep underground the academy which is 50 Billion Morg.
Kogoe asks Iroha to join forces with her so they can get rid of all the wars in this world together. The first step would be to take down their lying classmates and then secure the position of Class Leading Private.
Iroha rejects it due to his lack of trust in his ability to handle such a job; on the other hand, the other students suspect Iroha’s intellect due to the glasses he wears and challenges him to a battle of codes, which ends in a tie. Iroha’s commitment and “never give up” attitude impresses Kogoe. After a month, the time has come to choose the Class Leading Private, and Iroha is partnered with Kyora and decides to team up with Kasuri, making them a trio.
“The Casse Tête Quartet” is the name given to the selection procedure that they must go through. This test consists of solving a variety of jigsaw puzzles in order to obtain a code to solve. Kausri, one of the three cell team members, works quickly and solves the challenge without spending a single minute. And the teacher agrees, saying that the Class Leading Private would be determined in three sessions following the current class.
Kogoe begs Iroha to see her, and they wind up decoding a number of codes, including one that is a video of a military dance, which they translate after a long time and come to the conclusion that the man is asking the world for aid through his dance.
Iroha agrees to collaborate with Kogoe on his proposal, but she thinks that she shouldn’t be aiming to have fun while helping others. Iroha puts on his spectacles and does the “Ice Cold Reading,” which causes too much strain on his brain and excessive exhalation, and he is taken to the infirmary.

Cipher Academy Chapter 10 Recap
The chapter starts off with Kogoe meeting Kyora because she wants help. Kogoe tells her that she could sell her just the right wars at bargain prices to which she can throw as many prototype weapons into them as she pleases.
Iroha, on the other hand, is with Tayu in the infirmary, where she claims that if he is able to repel the next assassin, she would agree to his cease-fire plan, which he has previously discussed.
Tayu notes how this would benefit him because obtaining the Class Leading Private post requires a majority of votes, and she would only vote for Iroha if he won the code fight. “Verbal slip cut by half question and answer session” is the subject this time. The regulations are that the 46 syllables are divided into two, and they each get half; if they make a verbal slip, they lose.
Also, there would be a question-answer round which is essential as they obviously would have so many questions to ask each other and understand a lot of things. Iroha takes this as a challenge and accepts the battle because she remembers how Kogoe has always been valuing his intuition.

Cipher Academy Chapter 11 Spoilers
The battle would begin between Yugata and Iroha, and this would give Iroha an opportunity to ask her so many questions relating to the academy or about their classmates and so many more. Iroha has now been accustomed to solving so many codes that he has improved on so many levels.
We also did learn that Kogoe and Kyora have come to an understanding about the war prices, which is something Iroha is unaware of. We might understand who will finally be selected as the Class Leading Private in the next chapter and also know who wins between Yugata and Iroha.
