Golden Kamuy is one of the Best Historical Animes to come out in the past few years. The story follows the exploits of Saichi Sugimoto, a Russo-Japanese War Veteran. He was nicknamed The Immortal Sugimoto due to his unnatural ability to cheat death every time. He is known for jumping head first toward his enemies, be it a single person or an entire army.
The scars that are all over his face and body are testimony to the countless times he has cheated death. His employment with the army was terminated after he tussled with a superior officer whom he almost beat to death.
Now Sugimoto is seen searching the Hokkaido River for gold. He meets an old guy who tells him the story of the Hidden Gold of the Ainu. Sugimoto didn’t pay much attention to him, thinking the story was nothing more than the rambling of an old drunk. However, things turn for the worse when Sugimoto wakes up with his gun pointed at his chest by the same old man. He pulls the trigger, but the gun jams making us suspect that he really is Immortal.
The old man runs away in haste, but Sugimoto isn’t going to let him go that easily. After searching for a while, he sees the same old man’s corpse frozen in the snow. After further inspection, he realizes that the old man was killed by a bear and has left the body for later. At that moment, a bear attacks, but in the nick of time, he is saved by Asirpa, an Ainu girl. Sugimoto is incredibly lucky. The story progresses as Sugimoto and Asirpa go on an adventure to retrieve the lost treasure of her people. The same one from the old man’s story. However, they are not the only ones after this particular treasure.

The story is about a War Veteran and a Tribal Girl teaming up to find a lost treasure. Sugimoto, the war Veteran, is looking for gold to pay for a doctor. Before dying, his Best Friend made him promise to find a doctor for his wife as her eyesight was beginning to fail.
Sugimoto is trying to fulfill his late friend’s last wish. Asirpa, the Ainu girl, is helping him as the gold originally belonged to her people. They died protecting it, and it’s only fair that the gold is returned to its rightful owners.
Legend has it the person who stole the gold from the Ainu People hid it before he was imprisoned. To prevent anyone else from accessing it, especially the prison officers, he remained tight-lipped. All hope is not lost as he tattooed the map to the treasure on the bodies of his cellmates.
However, these prisoners escaped and have been heard from since. Sugimoto assumed this was just a story until he came across one of the prisoners. The old man from before. After confirming that the map, in fact, exists, the duo goes searching for more pieces to the puzzle.

3. Samurai Champloo
The story is about a daughter looking for his father. However, the reason is not what you expect. She wants to take revenge on him for abandoning her. She saves the life of an Outlaw and a Ronin. After losing a coin toss, they are forced to accompany her on her quest to find her long-lost father.
Fuu is a waitress working in the town tea shop. The town is run by a prefect who is corrupt and abuses his power. This is when Mugen, an outlaw, comes to town. Fuu asks him to protect her against the prefect’s son in exchange for food. Which he promptly agrees to.
At the same time, Jin, an outlaw, kills one of the Prefect’s bodyguards as he is abusing a peasant. Jin and Mugen mistake each other for working for the Prefect, and a battle ensues. The tea shop is destroyed as a result, and the duo is sentenced to death.

Gon Freecss is 12 years old now. He was the same age when his father became a pro-hunter. Gon wants to become a Hunter like his dad. But his Aunt is not behind this idea as it’s extremely dangerous. Yuri Honjō finds herself transported into a strange world. She calls her brother Rika who fills her in on what exactly is happening. They are not the only ones here. They are constantly being hunted by these masked figures, which prompts them to step off the building to their doom.
As the story goes by, she learns more and more about this new world and how it works. Supposedly this is a facility to create a New God. And the people chosen are candidates. And the masked ones are supposedly angels responsible for moving them along.
Yuri learns becoming a candidate comes with certain perks. One of them, the Angels, will stop hunting them and start aiding them. And to become an official candidate, she must find a mask quite different from the Angel masks and wear it.

The path to redemption is never one that’s easy. In his travels, he meets Rin Asano, whose entire family was killed by a rival dojo. Now she is looking for outcasts such as her to form an even stronger dojo. The story progresses as another rival dojo called the Mugai-Ryu shows up.

9. Berserk
The show is about a boy who was born from the dead body of his mother. He was raised in the life of a mercenary by his father. Whom he kills in self-defense during one of his drunken rages, he starts going around being a sword for hire. It was then he met a group of mercenaries and joined them.

Yuji Itadori is a high school student who has what can only be explained as unnatural athletic abilities. When Yuji’s friends accidentally open a cursed item, all hell breaks loose. This particular cursed item is the Finger of one Ryomen Sukuna, who was known as the king of curses.
In a last-ditch effort save the life of his friends, Yufi swallows the finger making him a vessel for Ryomen Sukuna. The cursed spirit that appeared was no match for the King of Curses and was destroyed by a single swipe of his hand. However, the issue is Sukuna is now loose on the world.
Or so we thought. In a twist of Fate, Yuji gains back control of his body, shocking everyone. When prompted to do it again, he does so successfully. Making him the only person to keep Sukuna at bay. Hiyori Iki is a sweet girl who is in middle school. One day she sees a guy who is about to be hit by a truck and rushes to his rescue. She pushes him away from the car; however, she is hit instead. She is taken to the hospital and is revealed to not have sustained anything serious.
There the person whom she saved introduces himself to her. The guy she saved is a god who goes by the name of Yato. However, she has a tough time coming to terms with it. Anyone would. As a result of the accident, Hiyori developed the skill of astral projection, which Yato explains as being a Half Phantom.
Hiyori asks Yato to fix her condition, and he accepts her wish at the small fee of 5 yen. However, in order to help her, she must first help him find a Regalia. An uncorrupt human spirit that the god can use as a weapon. The story progresses as they try to find a cure for her condition.

The unnamed protagonist of the show sacrifices his life to save a group of Teenage Kids from a speeding truck. Next thing you know, he is waking up in a strange new land in a strange new body. A baby who has just been born. He was reborn with all his past memories intact. The baby was named Rudeus Greyrat.
Since he is an old man stuck in a child’s body, he grasped things at an alarming rate. Leading his parents to think he is a child prodigy. While filling around with a spell book and accidentally destroying a part of his house, in the process, Rudeus is put under the tutelage of Roxy Migurdia to learn magic.
Roxy is in awe as Rudeus seems to possess the ability to cast spells without uttering a single word. An ability she isn’t think was possible. To think Rudeus have mastered that ability at such a young age baffles her. The story progresses as Rudeus finds himself teleported hundreds of miles away from his home after a mysterious magical event and must now return home to his family.

The story takes place in a world where human fears manifest themselves as Devils. The more humans dear something, the more powerful the demon will be. He kills the devils using the help of the chainsaw devil whom he befriended when he was younger.
Denji, the series protagonist, comes into contact with Chainsaw Devil at a young age. They form an unlikely friendship and have been inseparable since. Denji uses the chainsaw devil, whom he named Pochita, to kill devils. Which the yakuza then sells on the black market.
Things take a turn for the worse when the Yakuza decide to make a deal with the Zombie Devil, who agrees to share its power with the Yakuza if they kill the Chainsaw Devil. The Yakuza complies and even kills Denji in the process. However, his story does not end there.
Pochita sacrifices his life by replacing Denji’s heart with his own. Bringing Denji back from the dead as a Hybrid. Pochita gives Denji his heart, and in exchange, Denji has to live out all his dreams. The new revived takes revenge on those who wronged him. The story progresses as Denji joins the Public Safety Division, the branch of the government that deals with the devils.

16. Parasyte: The Maxim
The story takes in a parallel earth that falls under alien invasion. However, these aliens are no bigger than a caterpillar. Do not let their small size fool you. They might just be one of the most hostile and violent alien species you have come across before. These aliens burrow into the brain, killing the host and taking control of the corpse.
Shinichi Izumi was a normal high schooler living a pretty average life. Little did he know his entire life was about to be turned on its head. As Shinichi was sleeping, one of the aliens came in and started to make its way to his nose to access his brain. However, Shinichi sneezes at the last second.
The now-awaken Shinichi freaks out, sees the snake-like alien, and starts screaming. The alien burrowed into his arm and tried to make it to his head through there. However, Shinichi ties a headphone cord against his arm, forcing the alien to merge with his arm.
Shinichi goes back to sleep, assuming it was a dream. It remained like that till he stopped a speeding car with his bare arm. The same arm the alien burrowed into. Since the alien was unable to reach his brain, it took over his right arm. They form an unlikely alliance so both can survive.

The Kunugigaoka Junior High School is one of the most prestigious schools in the country. However, they are not without their fair share of underachievers. All the underachievers are herded into a single classroom and are alienated from the rest of the students.
One of the demands from the alien was that he wants to teach class 3-E, the class of underachievers. The government issues a ¥10 billion reward to anyone who can kill the alien whom the kids have named Koro-Sensei. Apart from being strong enough to destroy the planet, he also comes equipped with an arsenal of abilities.
Which include but are not limited to superior regeneration, flight, move at speeds of over Mach 20, to list a few. The story progresses as the kids try to kill him in more ingenious ways with every attempt. They form an ever-lasting bond with Koro-sensei while also becoming skilled assassins.

The story is about the Diclonius. A race of mutated humans with supernatural abilities. The Diclonius are often captured and experimented on by humans, and the show is about one such girl. She escapes from her captors but suffers head trauma as a result. Causing her looser her memory.
The protagonist Lucy is one of the most powerful Diclonius to exist. As such, she is feared. Even though she was guarded by a small army, she killed them all effortlessly. It took a shot to the head to stop her. However, it did not kill her but made her retreat to a childlike state.
She is found by Kohta and Yuka and is taken in. Little did they know about the bloodbath she was responsible for doing. When she was confronted by her captors again, she was no match as she was still in her diminished state. However, a blow to the head makes her regain her previous demeanor helping her escape.
The story progresses as the organization that kept Lucy captive send other Diclonius to track her down. As the episodes go by, it is revealed why Lucy has such a strong hatred toward humanity. Also how this isn’t the first time Kohta is eating Lucy, as they turn out to be childhood friends.

19. Amagi Brilliant Park
The story is about an Amusement Park that is at the end of its ropes. They find a sliver of hope in a high school kid. He is to become their manager and help them reach the quota by the end of the year, or the park will be closed forever. Imagine his surprise when he learns that the Park’s mascots are not humans in costumes. But real-life mythical beings.
Seiya Kanie is asked out on a date by Isuzu Sento. When he refuses, she pulls out a gun on him. Yes, you read that right. Threatening to shoot him if he does not comply. Kanie tries to play it off as he isn’t terrified until Sento actually shoots, making Kanie agree to the date.
She takes him to Amagi Brilliant Park. A park that is in disarray. Each attraction is worse than the other. And Kanie is not one to hide his dissatisfaction. As they were heading out, Sento took him to meet the park’s manager. He is shocked to find out that the manager is, in fact, a little girl dressed as a prince.
Latifah Fullanza explains that the actors he saw in the park are not people in costumes but residents of a magical realm known as Maple Land. The realm’s existence is in danger if they are not able to gather at least 500,000 customers. She asks Seiya to be their savior. Seiya is to take over as the park’s manager and help them attract at least 500,000 customers by the end of the year.

20. Dragon Ball
The show is about a young boy and a teenage girl as they travel the world looking for Dragon Balls. Seven balls, when put together, summons the Dragon God, who can grant any wish one desires. This quest is not without its challenges, as they are not the only ones who are looking for these objects.
Goku lives alone in the mountains after the death of his Grandfather. However, before he died, he entrusted Goku with the 4 Stared Dragon Ball. Goku crosses paths with Bulma, who coincidently is looking to assemble the Dragon Balls summon Shenron.
Bulma asks Goku to join her mission so she can take advantage of his strength. One thing to note is Bulma already has 2 Dragon Balls in her possession. The shoe progress as Bulma uses her Dragon Radar to track the presence of the Dragon Balls. This takes them all across the world.
The Dragon Ball is usually exchanged for some sort of favor for the current owner of the ball. However, several other parties become interested in Dragon Balls and try to steal them away constantly. The story progresses as they tactfully avoid them and come out victorious.

The story takes place in the Hyakkaou Private Academy. An elite school whose students all belong to High Society. However, there is something unique about the school, apart from other schools that rank students based on their academic abilities.
Hyakkaou Academy ranks them based on their gambling skills. The social hierarchy of the school is disrupted when Yumeko Jabami transfers to Hyakkaou Academy. At first look, Yumeko looks like a calm but cheerful girl.
Yumeko proves this to be furthest from the truth as she herself is a compulsive gambler. Unlike her classmates, she does not play for the Prize. She plays for the thrill. She proves herself to be quite skilled at Gambling as she uses the tricks used by her competitor against them to win.
She acquired quite the reputation, coming under the radar of the Student Body Council, which is made up of the school’s top gamblers. She goes on to challenge the Council members, defeating them one by one. She even goes as far as to challenge the Student Council President herself.

22. Nanana’s Buried Treasure
The story takes place in Special Student Zone, an artificial island off the coast of Japan. The island hosts several artifacts with magical abilities. The story follows a high school boy who moves to the island. When he gets to his new apartment, he is greeted by the ghost of the apartment’s previous tenant.
The ghost introduced herself as Nanana Ryūgajō, an adventurer belonging to the treasure hunters’ group Great 7. She was killed by a man with a Dragon Tattoo. Nanana is unable to move on and, therefore, is stuck at the place she was killed. Juugo Yama, the new tenant, finds a book titled Nanana Manuel, filling some gaps.
It is revealed that the treasures that Nanana collected over the years are now scatted all over the island. And that a phantom thief group is effectively trying to steal these artifacts so that they can abuse its powers for their own nefarious needs.
The story progresses as Juugo is invited by Isshin Yuiga, the Adventure Club president, to join his club. As a means to finding more of Nanana’a treasure and hopefully solving the mystery of who killed Nanana in the first place. However, not everyone is on his side as they claim to be.

23. Yasuke
Taking place in 16th Century Japan the story is based on the life of an African man who served the Japanese daimyō Oda Nobunaga. However, the anime gave his story a supernatural twist. However, after the fall of Nobunaga, he decides to live a quiet life.
Yasuke, now going by the name Yassan is living a life of solitude on the outskirts of a remote village. He mostly keeps to himself and works as a boatman. However, his peaceful existence is coming to an end as trouble has a way of finding him. After spending years at the side of Oda Nobunaga, he is used to it.
He is hired by Ichika, a singer at the local bar, to take her daughter up north to seek the help of a doctor. It turns out the daughter has some unexplained supernatural abilities, and this doctor supposedly can help with her condition. After much persuasion, the trio head out.
But they are attacked by the henchmen of Yami no Daimyō, the person responsible for the death of his previous master. This is an enemy unlike any he has come across in the past. It will take everything he has and then some to defeat this foe and get the girl the help she so desperately needs.

24. Claymore
The story is about these half-human, half-demon warriors who travel around the county offering their services to the public. They were created for the sole purpose of killing Yoma, demonic beats with the ability to shapeshift. These warriors being half Yoma themselves, can find and kill them.
The story protagonist is Clare, Claymore No: 47. The no 47 means she is the least powerful of all the Claymores in existence. During one of her mission, she comes across Raki, who seem to attract Yoma. His entire family was killed by one, and he asks if he can accompany Clare on her travels.
And thus, Raki starts traveling with Clare and performs the duty of preparing food for her. It is revealed that Yoma isn’t the only thing Claymores hunt. If Claymores use their demon side excessively, there is a risk of them going berserk as the Demon side takes over their body.
And when that happens, they must be put down by one of her fellow claymores. However, it is revealed that it is not always the case. There are several claymores who can use way more of their demonic abilities without ever losing control, but they are feared for their abilities.

They fail miserably. However, in accordance with the law of equivalent exchange, Edward loses his right leg while Alphonse loses his entire body. In a last-ditch effort, Edward exchanges his right arm for his brother’s soul and tethers it to a suit of armor.

Lelouch, now going by the name Lelouch Lamperogue finds himself in the middle of a terrorist attack. Lelouch becomes gravely injured by one of the nation’s soldiers. However, he was saved by the mysterious C.C., who gave Lelouch a Geass. A Geass is a sort of psychic ability people like C.C. can grant to others.
Lelouch gains the ability to control anyone whom he makes eye contact with. He can make them do virtually anything he wants. However, he can only use this ability once per person. Lelouch takes on the persona of Zero, the leader of the Black Knights. A resistance group against the Britannian Rule.
The story progresses as Lelouch uses his ability, as well as his strategic abilities, to deal decisive blows to those in power. Usually staying back, observing the battle from a distance, and moving the black knights like pieces on a chess board. He is hellbound on bringing the Holy Britannian Empire to its knees.

The story is about a group of 3 friends who set out from their small village into the big city looking for work. They want to gain enough money to raise their village out of poverty. Tatsumi tries to enlist himself in the army but gets out all his money. Taking pity on his condition, a noble family takes him in. Tatsumi could not be more excited. In the dead of night, the bandit group Night Raid attacked the noblemen’s s compound killing everyone.
Tatsumi was, of course, enraged at this. Or he was enraged until the Night Raid members decided to open his eyes to the truth. He finds the friends from whom he separated them. It appears that they made it to the city before him and were adopted by the same family.
It is revealed that the only reason the noblemen were so charitable was that they had ulterior motives. Tatsumi finds his friends tortured and murdered in the family’s dungeon. Tatsumi was headed in the same direction if not for the Night Raid’s intervention. Tatsumi joins the Night Raid to seek vengeance.

Tanjiro Kamado meets Giyu Taomioka as he is fleeing with his sister. His sister Nezuko turns into a demon and starts attacking Tanjiro. However, he was saved by Giyu. Tanjiro pleads with him not to kill his only remaining family member. Nezuko surprises everyone by protecting Tanjiro even though she is a demon.
Giyu informs Tanjiro to go to Sakonji Urojodaki and begin training as the Demon Slayer Corps is the best way to find out whether his sister can be cured. In the next few years, Tanjiro immerses himself in training and finally qualifies to go to attend the Entrance Exam, which he passes with flying colors.
Thus starting his journey. The story progresses as Tanjiro hones his skills, taking down stronger and faster demons each time. In his travels, he meets Tamayo, a demon trying to find a cure. And in order to do that, he must give her samples of blood from the 12 Demon Moons. The most powerful demons of them all.

29. Tokyo Revengers
The story is about a guy who finds out that his girlfriend from his middle school was killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. To add to his despair, he was pushed into the path of a train. However, when he opens his eyes, he finds out that he has transported himself 12 years into the past.
Takemichi Hanagaki decides to use this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change the past in such a way that Hinata Tachibana, the Ex-Girlfriend, does not die in the future. He goes and meets with her brother telling him everything. And when they touch shaking hands, Takemich is transported back into the present.
They conclude that their shaking hands are the trigger for his time travel and decide to use it to construct a future where Hinata is safe and sound. Hinata’s younger brother, Naota, is now a police detective who fills Takemichi in on what all happened in his absence.
Takemichi decides to insert himself into the Tokyo Manji Gang and become close to its leader. And uses his friendship with the upper echelon to steer the gang away from becoming the bunch of criminals they are bound to become in the future. It will take all his might and then some to pull this off.

30. Coyote Ragtime Show

Franca has to find the money within those seven days, or she can kiss her inheritance goodbye.
She is accompanied by Mister, an infamous pirate, and his gang in her quest for her money. There are several obstacles that stand in their way. One is Madame Marciano, who was responsible for the death of Pirate King Bruce. The other is Angelica Burns, a detective who is also tracking the pirates.
The story progresses as Mister and his crew fight Madame Marciano and her android hench-women while also avoiding Detective Burns. They must get to the treasure before the bomb goes off. Or they must find the bomb and figure out a way to diffuse it.

The story takes place in an alternate reality where an alien race called the Amanto has invaded the Earth, and humanity has surrendered to them. The aliens confiscated all the samurai swords they could find. They even made public carry of the weapon illegal.

Gintoki tries to help those in need. And it was how he met Shinpachi Shimura, who joined Gintoki as an apprentice. The duo later comes across an alien girl Kagura whom they save from the Yakuza.
She also joins their group. Together they form the Yorozuya, who does odd jobs for hire. The story does not have a story arc per see; however, there are a few characters who come back in future episodes.

32. Bleach
The story is about a high school student who has to see and interact with spirits. What he didn’t know was this ability makes him prone to attacks from Hollows. His life is changed completely when a soul reaper barges into his room, not knowing he can see her.
Rukia Kuchiki is in search of a hollow that is causing havoc in Karakura Town. Her search takes her to the house of Ichigo Kurosaki. She is surprised to see a human that can see soul reapers. From her, Ichigo learns that he has an abnormally high spiritual pressure which explains his abilities.
When the Hollow attack, Rukis sacrifices her body to save Ichigo’s life, and in order to kill the Hollow, Rukia proposes to share her powers with him. Ichigo accepts this and becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper. His abnormal spiritual pressure, in addition to soul-reaper powers from Rukia, makes him very strong.
His spiritual pressure is so strong that it starts affecting his close friends leading to them developing spiritual powers similar to his. The story progresses as Ichigo steps up to the mantle as Karakura Town’s soul reaper till they find a way to return the powers back to her.

33. Sorcerer Hunters
The story takes place on the Spooner Continent. The Spooner Continent is a place where both humans and sorcerers reside. However, the sorcerers are known to abuse their powers against those without. Due to such an intense power gap, the sorcerers get away with virtually everything.
The Sorcerer Hunters are the only ones trying to save the humans from the evil sorcerers. The group is led by Carrot Glacé. However, he has no magical ability of his own he has to ability to absorb it. After doing so, he can transform himself into one of 12 animals from the Chinese Zodiac.
When he is in this state, he is almost mindless and has to be brought back to normal by his subordinates. The one who brings him back is Tira Misu. Though she looks like a geeky girl in an oversized cloak, she is a completely different person on the inside of that cloak.
During combat, she ditches her cloak to reveal her dominatrix ear, complete with a whip. Apart from that, she can also use healing magic. The story progresses as Carrot, Tira Misu, and the other hunters try to liberate the powerless from the grip of the all-powerful sorcerers.

34. To Your Eternity
The story is about an entity that was sent to earth. When it first arrived on earth, it came into contact with a rock and turned into that rock. After a while, an injured white wolf that was traveling came across the rock and breathed its last breath while in contact with the stone, and the stone turned into the wolf.
The wolf goes back the way it came from, which leads it to an abandoned village. The only person left in the village is a young boy. The boy recognizes the wolf as his pet Joaan. The duo spends their day hunting and generally spending time with each other.
However, in the end, the boy succumbs to fever, and the wolf now takes the form of the boy. With nothing left for him there, he leaves the settlement and reaches Ninannah, where he meets the young girl March. March notices that he has no speech skills and proceeds to teach him some.
She also gives him a name, Fushi. Fushi saves March from being sacrificed to Oniguma, an abnormally large white bear. However, this is taken as an act of treason leading March, Fushi, Parona, and Pioran to be imprisoned; however, they escape.

35. Ruin Explorers
The story is about some treasure hunters who are searching for the ultimate treasure. This duo of lady treasure hunters is looking for a treasure called the Ultimate Power. Rumored to be powerful enough to grant any wish to whoever claims it.
However, to achieve this Ultimate Power, one must find some artifacts. These artifacts are revealed to be The Proof of Royalty, The Sword of Sargus, and, The Mirror of Truth. The duo finds the first artifact, The Proof of Royalty fairly quickly. Finding the rest proved more tricky.
As the story progresses, more and more people join in on their hunt, namely Lyle, Prince of the Lost Kingdom; Galuff, a merchant; Miguel, swordsman; and Sorceress Rasha. In their travels, they encounter Ruguduroll, who was a priest who was corrupted by magic, which resulted in him destroying a kingdom.
The same kingdom Lyle was a Prince off. The group faces off against him several times. But he proves to be a much stronger foe for them to handle. His being invulnerable to magic and even swords make their task even more challenging. They must find a way to contain Rugudroll if they have any hopes of finding the Ultimate Power.

36. One Punch Man
The story is about a guy who has become soo strong that he can end any fight with a single punch. He is one of the very few superheroes who does not have any superpowers. He trained himself so hard that he lost his hair and is not sporting a shiny bald head.
Saitama, in a nutshell, is the strongest hero on the planet. However, he is not one to flash his accomplishments and is therefore vastly underestimated. He is looking for someone who can pose a greater challenge to him. Someone who can take his punch and survive to see the next sunrise.
He is yet to find someone. This is where he comes across Genos. He is a cyborg superhero. He challenges Saitama to a duel and is baffled by his strength and begs him to be taken as an apprentice. After some hesitation, Saitama agrees. The duo then decide to become official heroes.
Even though Saitama aces the physical tests, he does not score as much on the written exam causing his rank to be lower than Genos. The story progresses as massive threats keep emerging. When other heroes struggle to even keep up with the latest threat, Saitama quickly dismisses them with one swift motion of his fist.

The story takes place on the island of Paradis. An island overrun my titans. Immortal giants attack humans at first notice. They are almost like Zombies but HUGE. To save themselves, humanity retreated behind three walls. Walls soo tall that the titans can’t ever get over them. Or so they thought.
The life of Eren Yeager takes a turn for the worse when the outermost wall is breached, causing several Titans to invade human settlements. It’s a massacre. The Titans help themselves to the population as they try to escape to the next wall. One of those who lost their lives that day was Eren’s mom.
Eren vows revenge against all Titans and joins the Survey Corps. He is accompanied by his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman and his childhood best friend, Armin Arlert. Little did he know it was going to be to end the Titan threat forever. His first mission goes horribly as Eren sacrifices himself to save Armin.
However, his story does not end there. Eren emerges from the Titan’s belly in his Titan form, Resorting to killing other titans. Until he loses, and Eren emerges from the back of the Titan’s body with no wounds from the time he sacrificed himself. Eren is the one trump card humanity has against the Titans.

38. Beyond the Boundary
The story takes place in a world where negative emotions can manifest themselves in the form of Youmu. However, not all of them are harmful to humans. The Spirit World Warriors are supernatural soldiers who deal with the Youmu threats. They use magic and other weapons to dispatch their enemies.
Mirai Kuriyama is one such Spirit Warrior. However, her ability is one that is rare and is deemed extremely dangerous. Her entire clan was wiped out due to their abilities making Mirai the only survivor. Her ability is that she can control blood. Willing it into any shape she wants.
She is basically Power, The Blood Fiend from Chainsaw Man. Or Katara from Avatar, The Last Airbender, who has blood-bending abilities. Mirai acts as if she is about to commit suicide, prompting Akihito Kanbara is try and rescue her. However, it was all a ploy to get Kanbara close enough for an Ambush.
She attacks him. However, he laughs it off as it is revealed that Akihito Kanbara is a Half Youmu. The offspring of a Human and a Youmu. And therefore is immortal and can come back from virtually any fatal wound. The latter become good friends afterward and ever starts developing feelings for one another.

39. Platinum End
The story is about a high schooler who was taken in by his abusive Aunt and Uncle after the death of his Parents. The abuse has become so bad that he wants to end it all. However, he is saved by an angel. The angel discloses how it’s time to select a new god and how he is one of the many candidates.
Mirai Kakehashi is, of course, skeptical. As part of the selection ritual, Mirai is given a pair of Angel Wings and, in addition to that, Red and White Arrows. The wings let him travel at massive speeds. The red arrows allow him to control and command anyone who is hit by it.
And the white arrow can kill anyone who is hit by it. The catch being others who were also selected for the Selection process can see them. The process gets off to a bloody start as one candidate decides that killing all the other candidates is the best way for him to become God.
Mirai resorts to finding other like-minded God Candidates and teaming up. However, one candidate seems hellbent on becoming the new god in any way possible. He possesses to the public as a superhero, a symbol of justice. However, it was just a small part of a plan to find other God Candidates and take them out.

40. Wild Arms: Twilight Venom

Sheyenne Rainstorm is, of course, confused about what’s happening. As the last thing he remembers is getting shot. He meets Dr. Kiel Aronnax during his time in jail. And is recruited into his team. Even though he is a scientist, he is not to be taken lightly as he can and will beat anyone in battle.
He is also accompanied by Popepi Pipepo, Isaac, who joined them after learning about the existence of another like him. Since the Popepi Pipepo is not around as much, he joins them in hopes of meeting this Female Popepi Pipepo he keeps hearing about.
The trio is looking for Rainstorm’s body which he hopes is alright. And hopefully, be able to return back to his original body. During his travels, he often comes across the Thief group. The group, the female Popepi Pipepo, is in. However, they are not so fond of Rainstorm as he always hinders their access to their loot.

The story is about a child whose own father decides to sacrifice him for the prosperity of his people. He was just a newborn then. The Baby Boy was founded by Dr. Jukai, who is an expert on prosthetic limbs. He creates an intricate set of Prosthetics for the boy. Just so he can have something similar to a normal life. Since he was sacrificed to demons, he somehow gained the ability to sense them.
When he was attacked by a demon, he was able to see their silhouette tipping things to his advantage. But what he didn’t anticipate was gaining back his ability to feel pain after. Hyakkimaru sets out into the world to find and kill all the demons responsible for his suffering.
With each demon he slays, he gains back his body one piece at a time. However, his father learns of this and sets out to stop him so that he does lost lose the wealth and prosperity he is enjoying. However, Hyakkimaru proves more competent than people who have all their limbs intact.

42. Mieruko-chan
The story is about a high school girl who suddenly develops the ability to see ghosts. It started as seeing a few shadows or handprints here and there. But it quickly developed to a full-on spiritual sense. She starts noticing spirits everywhere. And is shocked by the sheer volume.
Miko Yotsuya can never live a normal life now that she has been made aware of the existence of these evil entities. However, she has no choice but acts like she can’t see them. She also finds out that her best friend, Hana Yurikawa, has a strong aura that attracts other ghosts but also acts as a shield.
She finds some solace after she goes to a shrine and asks for protection. The shrine maidens appear to her and offer their protection. However, the protection is not indefinite but is limited to just three encounters. This came in handy when she accidentally waved to a ghost who became violent and tried to attack her.
The maidens appear and destroy the ghost. The story progresses as Miko adapts to her new lifestyle. However, it has become increasingly difficult as these spirits are everywhere. And some can even camouflage as regular humans. What will she do after her divine protection runs out?

The boy and his family were living a peaceful life until his father, who was once one of the fiercest warrior Vikings. However, when his past comes knocking, he has no choice but to accept.

The story takes place in an Orphanage where several children of all age groups reside. They are overseen by Isabella, whom the kids refer to as their mother.
