Nowadays, many viewers get attracted by stories that portray the protagonist as the villain, and the Turkish series ‘Aktris’ is one of them. The famous Turkish actress, Yasemin Derin, lives a bright life in the daytime and a mysterious life at night by punishing criminals without any legal authority, committing crimes against children and women.
The Turkish crime drama thriller ‘Aktris,’ which means actress, gets directed by Soner Caner and written by Hakan Bonomo. Hakan has written for the television series called ‘Family’ too. The team of producers includes Faruk Ozerten, Ilayda Kocak, Onur Çakir, Necati Akpinar, Selin Özyürek, and Zumrut Arol Bekce.
It is the first season, and Aktris has only eight one-hour-long episodes, released on the same day, with a strong female lead. According to the trailer, Yasemin had missed fifty interviews before her appearance at the Gala. So, it certainly raises a question on her personal life. She says nothing when she gets asked about her friends and love life. She only trusts her driver, Ahmet, who is the only one who knows about her secret identity.

According to Pinar, Yasemin does not resemble her because the character is too masked. She did not add anything else to herself and did not take anyone as an example. Aktris Synopsis
Every day brings a new threat to her double life, and she gets deeper into the web of mystery, suspicion, and adventure. Some things happen without any reason, according to Yasemin Derin.
Hiding behind her fame, Yasemin Derin has been living the double life for many years. She signs for a new movie and follows another target at the Gala like she does every other night in the first episode. Yasemin turns into a serial killer and learns to live long lonely nights alone. Thus, applying makeup and changing looks according to the mission are parts of her life.
In the second episode, she gets involved in a new project and starts seeing herself in Ekin. As they share a bond, Yasemin asks her (Erin) to come to her (Yasemin’s) place when her (Erin’s) father throws her out of the house. The further episodes are yet to get released. However, the series will show luxury in Yasemin’s life as an actress and emotional scenes.
You will find Yasemin resting for a while at her house after undergoing surgery in the third episode. Taner and Ekin almost face death after drinking a herbal tea sent in a package by one of Yasemin’s fans to her place.
After learning about the tea package, Ahmet finds that a company is behind Yasemin in the fourth episode. His further investigation at the harbor reveals that the company behind Yasemin is ‘Zone 22’ owned by Cihan Acar.
The chaos created in the aquarium spreads on social media like fire in the fifth episode. It makes Güneş suspicious of Yasemin. However, she gets glad to come under his sight. It was related to her secret identity. On the other hand, Yasemin gets ready to attend a shooting at a lavish hotel in Istanbul as a famous actress.
In the sixth episode, Yusuf’s murder attracts people’s attention. Chief Smith takes it as a clue to reach the mysterious serial killer. On the other hand, Faith starts acting odd and talks in Yasemin’s favor. He tries not to prove her guilty. Meanwhile, Yasemin lives her regular life as an actress by attending a fashion show.
Yasemin receives an SMS from an unknown number asking her to go home and wait when she tries to call Ahmet in the seventh episode. Thus, she gets shocked. After reaching home, she finds Mazhar, who claims to have Ahmet.
Finally, in the eighth episode, Ekin joins the dots after listening to a conversation between Yasemin and Taner and finds the serial killer. Yes, it is Yasemin!
