Here is a short synopsis of the plot. Once upon a time, there was a pirate named Gol D Roger who traveled the world and went on many conquests and, as a result, attained lots of wealth, fame, and power and earned himself the title of the Pirate King. The Pirate King was eventually caught and was about to be executed when he revealed that he had hidden all his treasure, the One Piece, in the Grand Line and challenged all the other pirates to find it and get themselves the title of the Pirate King.
Many pirates tried to find One Piece but failed miserably, as the grand line is not an easy place to traverse. Several years later, a boy named Monkey D Luffy, who has a passion for pirates, decided to find One Piece once and for all and followed in the footsteps of his idol, Shanks, who is also a pirate. What’s more, is that Luffy ate a Devil’s Fruit by accident when he was young, and it gave him superpowers. His body turned into rubber, and he was immune to almost every physical attack. The only vice was that he couldn’t swim because of the Devil Fruit.
The story of One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D Luffy as he turns into a pirate and sets out to bring together a crew called the Straw Hats as he travels to the Grand Line to find the coveted treasure, the One Piece.
Who Are Zoro And Vivi?
Here are some details about the characters just so that you get a bit of context when we talk about the question at hand.
Roronoa Zoro– Zoro is the first person who joined Luffy’s pirate crew, the Straw Hats. he is also known as “Pirate Hunter Zoro” and is a swordsman of the Straw Hats Grand Fleet. Zoro has mastered the Three Sword Style, which is a sword fighting style he created in his childhood. It is his lifelong dream to become the greatest swordsman in the world, as he promised to Kuina, his childhood friend who passed away.
Nefertari Vivi– Vivi is a princess who belongs to the Arabasta Kingdom. She was a member of the Suna Suna clan when she was younger and later was also a bounty hunter under the Baroque Works with the code name “Miss Wednesday.” Once it was discovered that Vivi was a spy plotting against Baroque Works, she and her pet ended up joining the Straw Hats crew.
Why Did Vivi Call Zoro Mr. Bushido?
Bushido, in Japanese, means “the way of the warrior.” It is a term that signifies Samurai attitudes, character, and way of life. It is also used to describe the principles and philosophies of samurai culture. Considering Zoro’s character and fighting style, it is quite obvious now why he was called Mr. Bushido by Vivi.
Vivi tends to nickname others, and she probably felt that Mr.Bushido suited Zoro’s style. Zoro is very much like a samurai when it comes to his behavior, and also he uses samurai swords when he battles. He is also the master of the Three Sword Style. Zoro has a samurai-like countenance and fights like a samurai, which is why Vivi gave him the nickname Mr.Bushido, and it can’t be ignored that the name suits Zoro too!
