The Time Traveler’s Wife Season 1 Episode 4 brings a big mess to Clare’s apartments as two Henrys show up to meet her friends. Last time on the show, The Time Traveler’s Wife finally shifted its narrative completely to Clare’s side. After all, the show is about her story. We witnessed how Clare grew up meeting a man who traveled through time and dropped by to meet her.
The show also shifted to a darker narrative by showing us the trauma Clare went through during her teenage years after coming close to a boy. Henry coming to her aid also revealed that she is destined to marry him sometime in the future. Now, in the fourth episode, we see Clare adjusting to the fate she can never change as she tries to accept the younger Henry, who is unlike the one she met while growing up.

The Time Traveler’s Wife Season 1 Episode 4 Review
The Time Traveler’s Wife Season 1 Episode 4 takes a step up from the two central characters by bringing in more characters who know about Henry’s time travel thing. As we predicted, it seems like the characters of Henry and Clare may continue to tell the story hand-in-hand.
Still, at the end of the day, the main focus continues to be on Clare, what she feels like and how she is suffering from a husband who disappears out of nowhere and travels to another year. This was an episode where we saw Clare finally coming to accept her reality as she forgives Henry, who she thought was a jerk. Apart from that, we continue to see her love for the older Henry grow.
The show introducing the characters Gomez and Charissa made the episode fun. Especially watching Gomez and Henry go back and forth to roast each other. Well, it’s hard to believe that they would be best friends in the future like older Henry predicts.
A fun episode that came to be because of the mess ended up in an emotional mess. Watching Ingrid realize her imminent death was pretty heartbreaking on its part. At this point, we don’t know if we will continue to see Gomez, Charissa, and Ingrid in the future, but we would love to.
