The Owl House Season 2 Episode 13 keeps Luz a little out of the main picture. It is more or less a Hunter and Willow centric episode with both having a goal of their own. Meanwhile, we believe Luz may continue to find herself looking for a way to build a perfect portal back home. Much like we saw her doing this past season. A hope came alive recently when she found out that Time Magic is possible.
So, way back in time, a human named Philip did make a portal and Luz wanted to ask him how. Luz partnered up with Lilith to look for an urban legend called Time Pools. Drowining into them might not be really good idea as they dont know which era they are in and how Philip is as a person.
Let’s find out what went down when Luz met Philip and if she manged to find anything about a perfect portal or the collector. Then we will move to release date, spoilers and streaming details of the brand new thirteenth episode of The Owl House’ second season.
The Owl House Season 2 Episode 12 Recap
Previously in The Owl House Season 2, Luz’s struggle to build a portal back home continued. She wished she could talk to a man named Philip who built one years ago. This saw her questioning Eda if Time Magic is real. Eda told her about the urban legend called Time Pools that may help one to travel through time. When she heard that Lilith was once adamant to find one of them, Luz quickly left to meet her.
Lilith on the other hand was struggling as she was jealous of Flora. Luz convinced Lilith that she could be a bad-girl historian if she helps her find a Time Pool. Thus, the journey began and it was a matter of time the duo found one. The pools helped them travel to a different eras. Luz peeped through a number of them until she found the one where Philip lived.

Lilith and Luz jumped through the same but had to be careful at the same time. Eventually, they found Philip who wasn’t that friendly. Until Luz told him that she could help him find the collector. So, Philip took the duo into the head of a Titan where there is a door that they have to open in order to come close to the collector.
Lilith found it weird that Philip suddenly started agreeing to everything Luz said. Lilith’s suspicion came true when a monster came out of that door. Philip was selfish and was just using them to get through the monster. He only came here to retrieve another object that could help him go back home.
Eventually, Luz and Lilith got hold of the monster and confronted Philip. He agreed to give information in exchange for another sacrifice. This made Lilith furious who decided to punch him. Lilith believes if a person like Philip could build a portal, Luz can do it too. The episode closed with Philip summoning the collector. Apart from all of this, we also saw Eda reuniting with her parents.

The Owl House Season 2 Episode 13 is releasing on 2 April 2022. It is titled, “Any Sport in a Storm”. The official synopsis of the episode suggests we will see Hunter on one of the most important missions of his life. This requires him to go undercover at the Hexside. Meanwhile, Willow is busy becoming skilled at an exciting new sport. She made up her mind to succeed no matter what.
