The Blood of Dawnwalker has crossed one million units sold worldwide, according to publisher Bandai Namco and developer Rebel Wolves. The milestone comes only days after the game launched on September 3, 2026, marking a strong early performance for the new vampire-themed action RPG.
Set in 14th-century Europe during the Black Death, The Blood of Dawnwalker follows Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker after supernatural forces descend upon his homeland. Players must balance his remaining humanity with his newfound abilities while attempting to save his family.

The game places a major emphasis on player choice, with decisions and even inaction capable of affecting the story. Coen also has different abilities depending on whether it is day or night, while combat combines traditional swordplay with supernatural powers.
Rebel Wolves has built the game’s open world using Unreal Engine 5, featuring handcrafted environments and multiple biomes. The Blood of Dawnwalker is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, GOG, and the Microsoft Store.
