The show has been taking quite some interesting and serious turns as the story of the season moves forward. Episode 18 of season 5 was titled “Friends are Lovers” that aired on February 15th, 2023. The episode was quite an emotional one, as conflicts are brought forth, that not create fights but also a sense of betrayal and threaten the strength of the sistahood bond.
Karen and Andi who have found themselves in a rut with each other try to solve the ongoing situation as they deal with the matters of betrayal that have caused them both hurt and pain. On the other side, we get to see a distressed Fatima, who leaves her partner Zac for the night. As she heads out, she tries to think and understand her own life and where is her connection with her partner going on.

The next episode of season 5 will be titled “Truth Hurts” and from the title itself, we can know that there are some serious issues rising to the top of things. Sabrina who is at At Danni’s apartment, while staying in there makes an interesting and quite surprising discovery that shocks her. She contemplates what will happen next and what her next step should be in regard to Danni.
On the latter side, Fatima who has been in stress due to her connection with Zac enters into a heated argument. They both lose their tempers as they spit out venom at each other saying this in the harshest and meanest way there is. Fatima somehow manages to put Zac into his place and is extremely upset and angry about whatever happened.
