Riverdale Season 6 Episode 11 continues on its superhero tale with Tabitha being the newest to receive powers. It seems like the show is bringing its own super team to the TV screens in an attempt to take down Percival Pickens. So far Percival had an upper hand in this battle. But for the very first time in a while, he tasted defeat when he tried to take down Pop’s which was not a good idea.
So here we are taking a look at the same, as we break down the events that took place on the eleventh episode of Riverdale Season 6. We will be looking at how Tabitha managed to jump through the time and how she found herself battling someone like Percival in every era to save her Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe.
Riverdale S06 E11 Recap
Riverdale Season 6 Episode 11 sees Percival Pickens continuing his efforts to take down the iconic Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe. Tabitha was not ready to back down so easily. Therefore, she tried to gather help from her friends. But everyone wants to stay away from Pickens or is busy figuring things out for now. This leads her to Jughead from whom she also finds out about her friends suddenly inheriting superpowers.
For now, Jughead believes if they manage to declare Pop’s a historical landmark, Pickens can do nothing to it. Thus, they began working and looking into the history of Pop’s. Until a man hired by Percival Pickens came walking in to shoot Tabitha down.

The event sees Tabitha’s consciousness going through time jumps. The first time around she went back to 1944. Here, she had the goal of stopping Pickens from turning Riverdale into Sundown Town. A law that says all black people and citizens must be outside the town limits by sundown. With Angel Raphael helping her, Tabitha was able to prove to Mr. Mayor why the town shouldn’t accept Sundown Town Laws. But still, after his defeat, Pickens came back to shoot Tabitha again sending her to 1968.
The second time Tabitha went through a time jump, she found herself and her community facing the trauma of losing Martin Luther King. Pickens wanted to disrupt them while they were grieving. But Tabitha made some contacts to get him fired from his FBI job in that era. But Pickens had one last move upon his sleeve in a form of a time bomb. Tabitha managed to get it away from Pop’s. In the process, she was caught in the fire leading to a time jump to 1999.
The last time jump saw Tabitha completing another mission of finding her Talisman in the form of the Holy Grail. After drinking a milkshake from the same holy grail, Tabitha came back to her time. Right before the man could shoot her. While she informed everyone of her friends who has a superpower about what went down with her, she also came to realize that her Talisman is actually Pop’s, not the Holy Grail.
Riverdale Season 6 Episode 11 Review
Riverdale Season 6 Episode 11 was kind of a tribute to the iconic Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe which has been present in the show since its beginning. Also, a Tabitha-centric episode is something the fans were looking for for a while.
Well, we are not sure if we are a fan of the way time travel was executed but it was a treat watching Pop’s in different eras. Especially with the show telling us how important historical moments had an impact on the place. Coming to Tabitha, well the show once again acknowledged the never back down attitude of her which we saw in the previous episode as well.
Talking about the time travel thing, we are not sure if Percival Pickens knows about Tabitha’s powers or not. He did try to manipulate her we believe in the initial opening minutes of the episode. But, it didn’t work. Probably that’s why he sent a man to shoot her down. Well, it didn’t kill her, instead, it triggered her superpowers.
So Tabitha joins the line of characters who have been receiving superpowers. Now by the end of the episode, we get Riverdale’s own Justice League who will be fighting Pickens. Lastly, after watching Pickens win constantly, this episode where Tabitha defeated him three times in a row is something we really needed.
