The Cult Leader has finally shown his concern for his youngest son, so he gives Woon the book “Ten Wings Ten Martial Arts, ” the greatest Martial arts book in existence. Determined to become stronger, Woon will depart on his 3-year journey in Nak San Manor.
Records of The Demon Path’s Return Chapter 15 opens up with Myeong-un and Wuon meeting Myeong-gak after a long time. Myeong-un struggles to speak in front of Myeong-gak as he still fears him.
Woon thinks that he should try to overcome his fear, or he will never be able to surpass Myeong-gak. He congratulates Myeong-gak on his recent deeds, and they all proceed inside the palace for the beginning of the Grand Flame Ceremony.

Inside the palace, Divine Cult Left Master Yang Daechoong announces the arrival of the Cult Leader and the beginning of the Grand Flame Ceremony.
Everyone present starts clapping and shouting for the entrance of the cult leader. Myeong-un thinks of what happened to Daechoong in his past life as he stepped down from his position before the cult leader’s death. He wonders if it was a natural death or an assassination.
The Cult Leader arrives in the palace and thanks everyone for coming to see him. He then announces that he will say a few words to his sons now.
Woon feels the depth of Cult Leader’s Ki just by listening to his voice, which makes it clear that he is above even Myeong-gak. The Cult Leader decides to talk about his sons’ mistakes. He tells the first son, Cheon, to grow his heart and stop paying much attention to his surroundings.
The Cult Leader tells his second son, Gak, to abandon all arrogance he has developed after his accomplishments in Qinghai. In the same way, The Cult Leader talks about the mistakes of all his sons, and then he comes to Woon.
He tells Woon that being weak is not a virtue, so he should train to become stronger, or he would not be considered a member of the Myung Clan. All the sons of The Cult Leader bow before him and promise to reflect upon their actions.
The Cult Leader then announces that he will reward all his sons for their hard work. He gives a Bai Lu Manor to his first son and a sword to his second son, but he only gives a book to Woon. Everyone laughs at Woon as they think he can’t do anything but read books.
Woon immediately recognizes the book as “Ten Wings Ten Martial Records.” The Ceremony soon ends, so all the sons of the Cult Leader also depart from the place.
Woon bids farewell to all his brothers when suddenly a maid approaches him with a letter. Woon reads the letter and finds that someone wants to meet him.
He realizes he won’t get any answers, so he quietly follows the Maid. Woon wonders if Seok Biyeon is trying to contact him, as the Seok clan has been quiet for some time now. The Maid takes Woon to a room and leaves.
Woon opens the door and finds the inside covered with a formation technique. He soon finds that the person who came to meet him is Divine Cult Right Master Gong Bokjin.
Bokjin skips all the ideal talk and asks Woon if he knows about the story of a child who weighed an elephant. Woon says the story is about Cao Chong, but he still doesn’t understand why Bokjin is asking about it.
Bokjin then tells Woon that the Cult Leader is worried about him. Bokjin further adds that the Cult Leader values his youngest son’s talent, but Woon will never live up to Cao Chong’s legacy if things stay this way. Woon realizes that he wants him to leave the place for a while, so he agrees.
