A new season of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander is making its way to the small screen via Starz. It’s the seventh season of this time travel show, and it’s bound to be one of the most popular ones because Claire Randall is back to traverse the past in 18th century Scotland and deal with her ups and downs with Jamie Fraser. Season 6 of Outlander saw the tension on the Ridge intensify with the return of Jamie’s enemy Tom Christie from Ardsmuir prison. The brewing conflict eventually took a darker turn with the murder of Malva Christie – one of Claire’s talented medical apprentices.
Matters worsened still when Claire was falsely accused of the crime, leading to her being charged and summoned to court to stand trial. In the meantime, Jamie found himself in hot water too, and was about to be dispatched on a ship before Ian came to his rescue. The two of them went to find and save Claire.
The upcoming Season 7 picks up right where Season 6 left off. Fans of the series will discover how Claire manages to prove her innocence and avoid being wrongly convicted, as well as find out whether or not the real killer(s) of Malva will be caught. Being based on the seventh book in the Outlander series, An Echo in the Bone, the plot is bound to be as captivating and thrilling as ever!
