Nekotofu is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Onimai: I’m Now Your Sister. Since April 2019, the series has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex magazine. It has also been serialized online since 2017. A television series adaption by Studio Bind, licensed in English by Kodansha USA, is slated to premiere in January 2023.
Shingo Fujii (the director of episode 11 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) directed the series at Studio Bind. In charge of the scripts for the series is Michiko Yokote (Shirobako: Prison School, Love All Play, Tsurune). It is Ryo Imamura (the animation director of Mushusoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation episode 11) who designed the characters. This is handled by EGG FIRM.
The manga is published digitally in English by Kodansha Comics, and the story is described as follows: The erotic-game-loving Mahiro Oyama woke up one day as a woman. As far as Mahiro is concerned, his mad-scientist little sister, Mihari, had tried out a new experiment on him…with a disastrous result. However, Mihari is just as eager to study him as he is to return to his shut-in life and play video games, and one thing is for sure…life is about to get a lot weirder!
