Honestly, I am glad that they showed that Yeon Woon (MC) is having a problem with the morality of the situation and also that he was not going to do it because he did not want to hurt Mu Kun, even if it meant making an enemy of the Wang Jeon.

I’m glad he had a discussion with Mu Ku, but still, he was a bit hesitant about the whole situation. Unlike other manhwas/mahuas, where the MCs will pick up women and use them. I’m glad Yeon Woon here at least has a moral compass.

This is not for harem increasing. This is genuinely for the father’s help down the road. His addition/owing Yeon Woon (MC) comes into play for the overall plot as well as the grander plot in the story. It really is just for the plot not to increase women after him.

Wang Jeon (her father) is the real gain for the squad/cult, and he comes into play for the grander plot/actual bad guy in the story. Except for Mu Ku, the wives are a backseat to everything. Mu Ku is the only one that actually adds to the plot.
