An inclusive and diverse comic by Marvel, “The Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” is a refreshing watch. Lunella Lafayette, a teenage science virtuoso, designs an egress striking a connection with the Devil Dinosaur. The embarkment of a young prodigy on a wondrous journey forms the design of “The Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.”
A Black female protagonist excelling in the field of STEM is something that screams diversified representation, as we all are aware that there is a dearth of female leads, especially in science, let alone Black! Friendship, love for one’s family and familial bonds, the power of responsibility, and the consequences encircling it form a harmonious entangled theme for “The Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.”
“Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” has become a flagbearer of diversity and inclusivity as an ensemble of females from minority backgrounds have written the entire storyline. Flying Bark Production, the same Animation production house notable for animating the “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” has animated the series. At the same time, the soundtrack, which has received a lot of praise, is done by Raphael Saadiq.
Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclare’s brainchild, with vivid illustrations by Natacha Bustos, has amassed praises from critics and audiences alike and rightly so. The show is worth considering if you hold Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe dear.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Episode 2 Recap
The second episode of “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” is titled “The Borough Bully.” The episode’s title captures the main idea of a cyberbully, namely Syphon8r. This sneering bully with its sharp gibe has been haunting our protagonist Lunella for a while now.
Casey, Luella’s close buddy, advises her to turn a blind eye to Syphon8r. However, Lunella wants to nib the troll in the bud! Confrontation is her answer! The genius hunts down the nasty troll, and lo and behold, who is it? Much like, what is it? A symbiotic creature created out of several peripherals. She sure didn’t expect that. Neither did we!
This adjunct symbiote is caustic, and anger and vexation fuel it. It feeds on emotions, and our shrewd Lunella does not let it triumph over her. She takes a moment and calms herself down. Lunella’s calm weakens the symbiote, and it bolts for freedom, a happy ending! No, not yet. Angelo, a young lad, is the mastermind of the trolling. What do we learn about Angelo? Why did he make the decisions that he did? Well, find out for yourself. Here’s a little clue- Love triumphs over hatred.
