With almost all couples revealed, this season of Married At First Sight Australia is starting to get much more interesting. Most newlyweds are doing well in their Honeymoons, but as they start to spend more time together, some couples are already on the verge of separation.
MAFS has become a staple dating/relationship show in many countries, but the Australian version has the best cinematography of all adaptations. It was first aired in 2015 and attracted 1.1 million viewers with its premiere. Since then this series has had new installments each year.
The couples will be guided by John Aiken, Mel Schilling, and Alessandra Rampolla this season. They were able to match the couples after thorough interviews and will be helping them overcome any problems that may arise during the time of the experiment.
For those unaware of the format, MAFS involves pairing up single men and women who marry each other without knowing anything in advance. They meet up for the first time during their wedding and are sent off on a Honeymoon so that they can discover much more about their partner. After returning from the Honeymoon and staying together, they are asked if they’d like to continue or end the marriage.
All the couples who have been revealed this season include Lyndall & Cameron, Sandy & Dan, Claire & Jesse, Tahnee & Ollie, Bronte & Harrison, Janelle & Adam, and the latest couples, Alyssa & Duncan and Caitlin & Shannon.
Married At First Sight Australia S10 Episode 6: Recap
In the previous episodes of this show, we’ve seen two new couples tie the knot. Caitlin McConville and Shannon Adams were the first ones to be married in the episode. They had a beautiful wedding and found each other’s personalities quite similar. Caitlin had always been insecure ever since she was cheated on by her previous boyfriends. She was delighted to see Shannon’s stunning eyes waiting for her at the end of the aisle.
The next couple was Alyssa Barmonde and Duncan James. Duncan is a Cyber security sales manager and wanted to find someone he could start a tight-knit family with. As physically attractive as he is, Duncan is also the most mature of all men on the show. He was paired up with Alyssa, a mom of one who wanted someone that would complete her family. She grew up in a very conservative family which makes her value morals highly.
While Caitlin and Shannon headed over to their lavish stay at a Versace hotel in Queensland, Alyssa and Duncan were sent to the perfect holiday spot of Yarrawonga, Victoria. The rest of the couples were enjoying their honeymoons as well. Lyndall and Cameron were presented with the Honesty Box, which ended up addressing Cameron’s concerns about Lyndall’s health.

Being immunocompromised due to Cystic Fibrosis made Lyndall cut off all desires since she was informed about the high mortality rate of the disease. Now that there were better treatments her life expectancy has improved and she looks forward to spending more time with Cameron. As for Bronte and Harrison, things have become problematic once again.
Sandy and Dan enjoy their stay in Singapore and the same goes for Tahnee and Ollie in Fiji. Unfortunately, Jesse and Claire just can’t seem to be going well together. Jesse is bothered by Claire’s icks, which consist of Claire being loud and independent. The relationship experts help him understand that he should break down his toxic patterns, which causes Jesse to apologize to Claire. Even after apologizing, Jesse shows that he’s made of red flags later that day.
