Kusha’s personal life and Marriage with Zorawar Ahluwalia
In 2017, Kusha, a Punjabi Hindu who is originally from Delhi, tied the knot with Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, who was previously an employee at Diageo. Just recently, on the 26th of June 2023, the actor-influencer announced that she had decided to separate from her husband of almost six years.
Since then, the pair has come under criticism online, particularly Kusha, who was accused of ending things with Zorawar after becoming successful. She became a hot topic, especially on Twitter, the day she publicly announced her separation from her husband. Kusha has chosen to stay silent on the matter and has not responded to the internet bullies yet.
In a post, Kusha made the divorce public. Just one month prior, Zorawar and Kusha had amicably agreed to part ways. She acknowledged how challenging the choice had been for them both, but at this point in their lives, they appear to be certain that it is the right one.
Tragically, their new aims and goals for themselves don’t mesh well together, but the life and love they shared with one another still mean a great deal to them both. She said in her message that they tried to keep the marriage afloat until they simply couldn’t do it anymore.

Undoubtedly, the breakup has been devastating for them, and it has also been challenging for both of their families. Thankfully, they have had some time to think about this, but what they created and enjoyed together for almost a decade was unfortunately a failure.
They still need a lot of time and healing to digest the situation better before moving on to the next phase of their lives. Their current objective is to support, love, and respect one another through this challenging period.
She continued the message by saying that they would continue to raise Maya, their daughter, as a pair and that they would continue to support one another as co-parents. All of this was stated in her devastating statement that she released exclusively to her followers.

Zorawar’s response to the situation
After noticing how his ex-wife had been portrayed as the “villain” in this situation on social media, Zorawar decided to speak out. He said that both parties unanimously agreed to get a divorce, and she wasn’t the only one to take the decision.
He addressed the harassment that internet bullies had directed toward Kusha in a compassionate Instagram post. He said that even if they were conscious that they lead public lives, some things nevertheless hold special meaning for them. Their union and mutual respect for one another are examples of this.
They both decided to separate after giving it serious thought and attention, just like they did with their marriage. Keeping in mind that it was best for both of their futures and well-being, they mutually made this difficult and painful decision. In response to Kusha being the target of vile internet attacks during the past 24 hours, he expressed his sadness and disgust at what had transpired.
According to him, it was simply dishonorable to attack Kusha’s reputation and paint her as a monster simply because she made a public statement about the matter. He went on to plead with the audience to “please do better.”
