Matchmaking South Korean series Heart Signal will be returning with an all-new episode this week. Now that Lee Hu Shin, the latest member to enter the signal house, has made his debut, the love triangles are only going to get much more complex. Both the male and female contestants seem to be mesmerized by Lee Hu Shin’s mysterious personality.
Heart Signal is a dating show created by Channel A, which involves putting a dozen singles under the same roof in hopes of making them find their perfect match. These singles come from different jobs and backgrounds, and they have to navigate through it all to live peacefully with the rest of the contestants. As they flirt their way into finding their partner, the catch behind Heart Signal is that the members cannot confess their love to each other directly and would have to confess through chat.
The confessor, unfortunately, remains anonymous, so the receiver has to guess who developed feelings for them and take the relationship forward if they feel the same. A celebrity panel predicts the couples before they confess to each other, and if they happen to be correct, they are rewarded with a prize. Heart Signal Season 4’s panel consists of Lee Sang-min, Kim Eana, Kim Choong-gi, Kang Seung-Yeon, Yoon Jong-shin, and Mimi.
Heart Signal Season 4 Episode 3: Recap
In the previous episode of Heart Signal Season 4, we see the celebrity panel talking about the change in some relationships; for example, Ju Mi shifted her focus from Min Gyu and now was after Gyeo Re. Everyone is shocked after hearing Gyeo Re’s true age was 35, as he looked much younger when he entered the house. Ji Min secretly develops feelings for Ji Won. The panel disappointedly knows that the man they thought was the most handsome, Min Gyu, received zero votes.
Back in the Signal House, we see the housemates deciding who will be doing the dishes for the day. Min Gyu notices Ju Mi doing the dishes alone and hovers around her, asking if he could help her. Ji Won has to leave for work, so he goes to his bedroom. Ju Mi asks Min Gyu to drop the honorifics, and the two seem to get along well. The next day after they reveal their jobs arrive, and Ju Mi is the one to wake up first. Min Gyu and Ji Min have a small talk before Ji Min has to leave. Min Gyu offers to drop her, which causes the panel to appreciate his personality.
Ji Min maintains a certain distance from Min Gyu because she has feelings for Ji Won. Min Gyu reveals he thinks Ji Young is the prettiest and would like to go on a date with her one day since they’ve not had a chance to have any deep conversations at the Signal house. Ji Min and Min Gyu coincidentally happen to arrive at the home at the same time again. Gyeo Re notices Ji Young not maintaining eye contact with him, which causes the celebrity panel to rethink their relationship.
The panel sees Ji Min being enthusiastic about Ji Won waking up. Min Gyu feels some type of way seeing Ji Min develop an interest in Ji Won. The house received a blank canvas and a suitcase, possibly hinting at a new member entering the house. All of the house members are overwhelmed by the new contestant, Lee Hu Shin; asides from being handsome and having a deep voice, his style is much different from others in the signal house.
