Moreover, with the first three episodes so far, the show has managed to attract a ton of viewers towards it already. As a result, the fans and viewers are now hooked and are eager to watch Halo Season 1 Episode 4. However, let us first take a quick recap of the previous episode.
Halo Season 1 Episode 3 Recap
Episode 3 of Halo Season 1 came out on 7th April 2022 and was titled “Emergence”. The episode saw Dr. Halsey moving ahead with her cloning program and activating it. However, she took out all the knowledge from her clone into a chip and installed it into John’s brain with the aim to make him more focused on his mission and secretly keep him under control so he couldn’t go rogue, as he did previously. Although, she didn’t give Cortana full access to control his brain and decided to test it with a bit of limitation first. Soon, John went ahead to touch the artifact again so Halsey could conduct a test and figure out what was happening.
But Cortana couldn’t see what John was seeing, and she had no control over it since the artifact only recognized John’s true presence of mind. On the other hand, we saw a little bit of the backstory of Makee and how she was rescued from a slave planet by the covenant. In the present, she set out with a covenant ship and a worm monster by her side. She tricked a UNSC ship into believing that she was a hostage on the covenant ship and needed rescuing. However, she infiltrated their ship, killing everyone in order to take control of their data and find out where Master Chief and the artifact were.
Although, she failed to do so as the ship has very high security, and the data couldn’t be accessed. So she decided to go to planet Madrigal where the artifact was first found. In the meantime, John wasn’t trusting Cortana, but she kept appearing in front of him, trying to do what she was designed to. Soon he decided to take the device out from his body that was responsible for surprising his emotions, and Halsey told Cortana to help him remove it to gain his trust. As a result, he started to feel the emotions for the first time, and it was a new feeling for him.
After a while, he immediately remembered one of the memories from the artifact and went to touch it again. He then realized that there was another artifact like it as he used to draw it again and again when he was a child. Eventually, he told Halsey that he was going on a mission to his home planet to find out whatever he could relate to the artifact and his past. However, she told him that she would go with him as well to help him with it. Although, her real motive was to take control of his mind through Cortana if he finds out the truth about his past.
