Hosted by Gerry Dee, the Canadian game show titled Family Feud Canada is based on the original American version and is currently airing its fifth season. The show brings on the set two competitive families who are tasked with answering fun survey questions for hefty prize money in the end.
Created by Mark Goodson, the show follows the same format as the American version, with just a few tweaks here and there. For this version of the show, the families are required to be at least eighteen years old or above, and each family can appear on the show no more than three times.
These two additions are the main differences between Family Feud, the American version, and the Canadian version. Apart from these changes, this extension of the original reality show is its exact copy down to its set and music.
It is a fun family reality series with a friendly competitive aspect, which makes it popular among the viewers. A big reason why the show is popular is because of its clean remarks, how the contestants and the host poke fun at each other and rile each other up, but it is all meant for fun and is never really mean and demeaning, something a lot of competitive reality shows deliberately indulge in.

The Plot
Just like the rest of the seasons, once again, we opened this new fifth season with new families signed up for more fun quizzes and questions that our beloved host Gerry Dee would throw at them. While the episodes do not usually run for that long, the producers make sure that it is jam-packed with absolute fun.
Every episode has two families going against each other for a grand final prize of ten thousand dollars. Following the rules of the show, each family can choose to reappear on the show, but not more than three times. In the last episode of this reality game show, we witnessed the Kwok family returning to challenge the Johnston family, and we must say it was a tough battle.
While not much has been made public about the upcoming fifty-seventh episode of the show, we are sure it is going to be packed with high fun spirits and unexpected twists.

The fifty-seventh episode of Family Feud Canada will be out for fans to watch on Monday, December 25th, 2023. While we do not know just how many more episodes the show plans on releasing, we do know that they will not be running for longer than twenty-two minutes.
