The story of ‘Django Unchained’ is based on the 18s era (1858). The film ‘Django Unchained’ started with a scene where you will get to see some slaves. Their legs got tied with chains. While they were going with their masters, a man named Dr. King Schultz stopped them. He was there to make a deal with them. He asked if there was someone from the plantation.
Listening to this, a slave from the group said he was from the plantation and named himself Django. After listening to him, he got off his horse and asked if he knew anything about the three brothers to which he replied in the affirmative. Dr. King then asked him if he wanted to go to the plantation with him. Django immediately said yes. Those who were taking slaves with them to another place resisted Dr. King. But Doctors King shot them using his gun and took Django with him.
Django Unchained Summary
At the plantation, everyone was amazed to see Django there. They then visited a bar where they got to meet with a sheriff. He said that doctor could not take Django with him as he is a slave. The sheriff was aware of the previous night. This made Doctor King shoot him.
From there, Dr. King and Django visited the house of the 3 brothers. Jango was after those brothers for a couple of years. And he wanted to take revenge on them. He told Dr. King that he and his wife were slaves here. But one day, they tried to run. He successfully ran away, but his wife got captured. So he wanted to save his wife.
Django killed two of the brothers and Doctor King killed the remaining one. There lived a rich man for whom all the three brothers were working. This incident made him angry as they killed three important people. He could not have done anything because Doctor King showed him the warrant for killing them. The rich man then gathered his army and said them to not let go outside the city. Doctor King was aware that this would happen so he did not sit in the vehicle. Later, he killed the rich man also.
Doctor King was a bounty hunter. And he was on a mission to kill criminals, warranted by the government. He started earning a lot of money from killing those people and time after time getting richer with the help of Django.
Doctor King’s Plan
Now, they wanted to save Django’s wife. But saving her was not a piece of cake. Django’s wife was in the captivity of Kevin, who was not only a rich man and the owner of the plantation but also a powerful man. He loved to see fights between two black men. To save Django’s wife from Kevin, they made a plan and visited Kevin’s place.
Doctor King introduced himself as also a fight lover. And he wanted to buy his most powerful fighter for $12000. Kevin was shocked by this proposal (as the amount was large according to that time). He got ready to sell his fighter for $12000. Kevin took them home ( a villa), where they met with Jango’s wife. Another morning, Doctor King said he wanted to take that woman slave (Jango’s life) with him. To this, Kevin got ready.
There was a loyal servant of Kevin who had doubts about them. So he told Kevin that they are not after his fighter but after his slave as they had some connection with the women. Kevin said they would have to pay for her.
Kelvin arrived where Dr. King was standing. He said he knew their plan, and if they want to take the German women with them, then they would have to pay $12000. Doctor King got ready. When they were leaving, Kevin asked him to shake hands. At first, Dr. King rejected the proposal. But after thinking something, he got ready to shake hands. He had a gun, using which he shot Kelvin. Kelvin lost his breath immediately. Watching his boss dead his black slave got angry and used a gunshot on Doctor King.
Django Unchained Ending Explained
Django was watching all this and he started shooting everybody present there. But he lost his bullet and that’s how he ended up being a slave once again. His owner was three men, he said to them that he is not a slave but a bounty hunter. And he is on a mission to shoot a guy on whom the government kept a price of $700. Listening to this, all the three men got ready to work with him and gave their guns. Taking those guns, Django shot them instantly and retreated.
Django then went to the villa where his wife got kept. She was happy to see him alive. He then visited the place where Doctor King’s body was lying. He took the paper which declared that his wife was free. Affected by the death of Dr. King, Django shot dead all the people who got involved with Kelvin. He planted dynamite throughout the villa. After saving house slaves, he ignited the dynamite. As a result, the villa exploded in the end.
