Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 20 Recap
The new paramedic was pursuing Violet’s employment. Emma was eager to get dirty. She spread stories about Violet not being mentally prepared to handle complex cases, and she sought to discredit her in front of genuine patients. Emma was willing to go to any length to get inside Violet’s brain. Violet is now aware that she coveted Violet’s job. Violet discussed it with her friends. They all vowed to keep Emma in mind. They assumed that with all three of them watching for any signs, Emma couldn’t possibly do anything, so they misjudged her. Emma was addicted to adrenaline. She didn’t desire Violet’s job because she was ambitious or wanted to be a permanent resident rather than a temp.
Emma desired the position because she wanted to be in the thick of things. She acknowledged something truthful about herself in one of the numerous stories she made up about herself. She claimed she quit medicine because she craved action. That was a watershed moment. She was never a doctor, and she never went to John Hopkins. She desired to go where the adrenaline was. Emma developed a crush on Gallo after witnessing him carry out a heroic rescue in the sky, and she was a true adrenaline junkie. She most likely asked Gallo out on a date because she was curious about the rescue.
Gallo Says No
Gallo had declined her invitation to the date. He claimed to be preoccupied. That was technically correct because he took that class and trained with Severide on the side. He traveled to Kidd after pulling off that rescue with Severide’s team. He informed her how he approached Severide to join his team and how that had happened before she became his lieutenant. It was simply something he desired to do. He’s not unhappy where he is. He likes Kidd, and he came to her before anyone could spread rumors about it since he didn’t want her to think otherwise.
Awkward Moments
On the other hand, Kidd grew enraged following her talk with Gallo. Kidd wasn’t mad at him. Moreover, she was enraged at Severide. She had had no idea about the extra lessons. Kidd contacted Severide, her fiancé, and informed him flatly that he wasn’t permitted to poach one of her guys.
Kidd was a rookie lieutenant. She went to great lengths to assemble the best team possible. She didn’t want anyone undermining that. This was especially true for Severide. She instructed him not to poach anyone from her team, which was an issue because Severide later learned straight from Gallo that he was ready to join his side. As a result, Severide found himself in an awkward situation.
