Thai dramas have been captivating the audience with the new concepts and stories. They are giving a chance to see things from a different lens, redefining romance, and comedy.
The new romance drama Be Mine Superstar, directed by David Bigander, has given a new relief from the Monday blues. It has just started its journey with a premiere on 3 July 2023.
With just one episode released, it has made everyone invested. This drama is only limited to 12 episodes but with a run time of 45 minutes, you can expect some decent storyline and entertainment.

Be Mine Superstar Plot
Based on the novel The Superstar and The Puppy on The Set by Ofious, the Thai drama is about a third-year student named Pun. He admires the nation’s heartthrob Ashi.
His admiration is crazy to the extent that he dreams to be with the superstar. Ashi is a renowned and grounded actor who is loved by all age groups.
One day when Pun applies for an internship at the drama set, he gets his golden chance to meet his idol. His love for him grows every day seeing him in front of his eyes.
Does this closeness stand a chance of winning Ashi’s love and attention, after all, Pun is just a regular intern.
Be Mine Superstar Episode 1 Recap
The show starts with Ashi, Worra, and Title shooting a scene for the drama. After they complete the shot and return to the dressing room, Somwan(Wan) and Sompriao(Priao) get into a quarrel.
Wan manages the dates and schedule for Ashi and Mingmueang. On the other hand, Priao does it for Title. The three men do not share any harsh feelings but their managers do.
So they get into fights now and then. Their rivalry has a history when Priao did the trio dirty and they had to start from scratch.
Now, Ashi is a famous person who rules the hearts of many. One of them is Pun. He has his pictures all around his room and a pillow too. His brother Pai teases him for his craze for Ashi.
In the next scene, the actors are seen having a photoshoot and also talking to the paparazzi. Priao interferes with them and lets them know about a product launch event the male actors have to attend. All of them shift their focus to taking pictures of the female lead.
Pun has not accepted any internship offers because he has applied for an internship at Ashi’s set. Pun and his friends meet to discuss the same when they are joined by Film.
After having a conversation with her, Pun returns home happy for getting the internship. He starts thinking about impressing Ashi and daydreaming. Meanwhile, Mingmueang visits a bar where he shares a drink with a doctor named Namning.
The two get close and spend an intimate night together. The next morning, Mingmueang asks for his number but he insists on not wanting to meet again as he prefers a one-night stand. Mingmueang has to hurry because Wan and Priao have been waiting for him.
Miss Koi informs that she wants the three of them to work with Priao without any conditions. In the next episode, we will see Pun making it to the set of the drama. He will get to share some sweet moments with Ashi.
