As Yellowstone gets ready to end, Wendy Moniz, who plays Governor Lynelle Perry, has finished her time on the show. Moniz has been a part of the show since 2017 and recently posted an emotional goodbye on Instagram.
She talked about her feelings, saying she was sentimental, proud, and grateful. She appreciated the experience and the talented team she worked with over the years. Moniz called the set a “home away from home” and enjoyed the special bond she had with the cast and crew.
Who Is Lynelle Perry?
The show, which has become a big cultural hit, will end with the second part of its fifth season, starting on November 10. But Yellowstone is not ending completely.
The franchise is growing with new spin-offs. One of these is The Madison, which stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Patrick J. Adams. This new series will follow the Clyburn family in Montana after a tragic plane crash kills Stacy Clyburn’s husband and brother-in-law.
Fans will also see Yellowstone: 2024, a sequel series that is expected to include familiar characters like Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler, and Kayce Dutton. It is not confirmed yet if Moniz’s character will be in 2024, and it is unclear if The Madison is the new name for 2024 or if it is a separate series.
