Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
The previous episode of the series shows us when Taiju orders Hakkai to beat Takemichi to death, he explains to him that it is not Takemichi’s fault, and he is unknown of the fact that this is Black Dragon’s territory. Even after knowing this, Taiju doesn’t care and continues beating him. When he gets interrupted by Yuzuha, he even slaps her by saying that she is also responsible for all this.
Later we see that Takemichi somehow manages to stand straight, and tells Taiju that he should not hit Yuzuha, not only because she is a girl, but she is also her own sister. Taiju warns Takemichi that he should not interfere in this because it is their family matter. Then he starts beating him again, and this time she gets interrupted by Hinata.
When Taiju tries to hit her, Takemichi steps in front of them and gets the blow. Then we saw Hakkai, who is requesting Taiju to stop beating him, but he tells him that whoever he wants something from someone, he always gives something in return. Hakkai then says that if he leaves Takemichi, he will leave the Toman and will join Black Dragon. Taiji accepts the deal with a smile and leaves Takemichi.
The scene changes with Takemichi, who is being carried by Hakkai. Takemichi apologizes to him because he thinks that in order to protect him, Hakkai has left Toman and decided to join the Black Dragon. Then Hakkai reveals that he had already made his decision to leave Toman before this incident and then thanks him for standing in support of her sister against Taiju. Hakkai also reveals to him that, he is joining Black Dragon because he wants to do something about the gang.
This “something” that Hakki mentioned here was in reference to what we already know about the future of the Black Dragon. Becasue in the future, we are familiar with an incident where Hakkai kills a member of Black Dragon, who is nothing but his own brother, Taiju. If things continue the same as they are now, between Taiju and Hakkai, then it will lead to the same future that Takemichi not wanted.
