2. Washijo Tanji
Washijo is the head coach of Shiratorizawa Academy’s boys’ volleyball team. In the anime, we get a glimpse of his past horrors. Despite his volleyball skills, he was rejected due to his small height. That trauma sticks with him for his whole life. Now he is the coach of the Shiratorizawa volleyball team, where he makes a team of tall players to justify the reason for his rejection.
He found similarities between Hinata and himself. Despite that, he stuck to his beliefs rather than helping Hinata overcome the challenges. Some fans hate him for his biased opinion of the physical characteristics of a player. But deep down, he wants Hinata to succeed.

Atsumu Miya is hated due to his self-centeredness. He is a second-year setter at Inarizaki High. Atsumu Miya’s past has been shown in both the manga and anime and how he is known to degrade his teammates for not killing the ball on his sets. The same treatment was given to his brother Osamu, who simply chose to drop kick him, and thus, a brawl had begun. This simply shoes Atsumu Miya’s personality which is often not liked by others.
Picking on Kagayama at the Youth intensive and his unbelievable services are also the reason why fans might have a grudge against him.
