Things are about to get way more serious on Murdoch Mysteries Season 15 Episode 24 as Murdoch tries to find who is trying to take his life. Murdoch Mysteries Season 15 Episode 23 Recap
Episode 23 of Murdoch Mysteries Season 15 came out on 4th April 2022 and was titled “Pay The Piper”. The episode saw Crabtree and Effie coming across the shooting of a man in broad daylight whom they thought to be Detective Murdoch. However, it was someone else but the exact same dress as Murdoch and the man going on a bicycle from the same route as Murdoch was something to take notice of. Later on, Violet told Murdoch and Inspector Thomas that the dead man had got his clothes tailored from the same shop as Detective Murdoch.
On the other hand, Crabtree and Effie went to Wexford to meet Effie’s parents where Crabtree mentioned to Effie’s father that he was fascinated to hear about the Wexford wonder, which was the possible appearance of aliens in the town. This made Effie’s father quite excited and he went on to show them a machine he built that measured electromagnetic pulses and a rise in them which would help identify if there was a portal somewhere that led to another world where the aliens were from. Moreover, this became a big deal when Effie’s best friend went missing and some strange footmarks were seen near her house that didn’t look human or animal by any means.
While back in Toronto, Murdoch was getting suspicious of a lot of people who were around his family. At first, he started doubting the new Priest in town who was about to baptize their daughter. Later on, Murdoch went to an old criminal he put inside the jail and asked him whether he was behind it all, trying to get revenge. But he denied it. The next day, Murdoch even doubted the nanny who was talking to someone about Murdoch’s family but she didn’t like it and left. Eventually, Julia had to calm him down saying that he was over exaggerating it all.
On the other side, Violet’s dad Maurice came back and slowly started to get on her nerves and she couldn’t do anything about it. Furthermore, he even asked her to give her partnership in the bar to him or he’ll reveal her secret that she’d been already married before. In the end, things got dangerous when Watts got shot trying to find the shooter who killed the man dressed as Murdoch. Meanwhile, Murdoch had to move Julia and his daughter to another place when he found a bomb in his house moments before it could have exploded.
