Prime Video’s Gen V is a superhero-themed series that centers on young adult Supes who are a part of Godolkin University. A spin-off of The Boys, this series has the same level of black comedy, action, and gore as its main show.
With Craig Rosenberg as the creator, Gen V’s storyline is taken from The Boys volume 4, “We Gotta Go Now“. Gen V’s young and talented cast consists of Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Chance Perdomo in the role of Andre, Lizzie Broadway plays Emma, Maddie Phillips plays Cate and Indira’s role is portrayed by Shelly Conn.
Up until now, Gen V has managed to create its own fan base with its exciting plot and intense action scenes. Besides this, Gen V also features many new supes with interesting powers and capabilities.
Gen V Episode 6: Recap
In episode 6 of Gen V, Jordan, Marie, and Andre find out that Cate was reading their minds the whole time. When Cate restores everyone’s hidden memories, she ends up experiencing a seizure. Jordan and the others are then transported into Cate’s memories while trying to help her.
There they meet Soldier Boy, who explains where they are and that they should probably get going before they become a part of this world forever. Through Cate’s memories, Jordan, Marie, and Andre are made to face their deepest feelings.
Luke, who was a part of Cate’s mind, confronts Andre about convincing Cate to cheat on him. Luke attacks Andre and the group is then transported into Jordan’s memories, where we see how Jordan saved Brink and subsequently took up the assistant job.
When they enter Marie’s memories, they find Marie’s childhood self crying in the corner after killing her parents. Marie’s tagged as a murderer by herself. Jordan and the others then become a part of Cate’s memories, where they see how she became involved with Shetty.
Due to her dangerous powers, Cate was always kept alone in her room. Indira became her hope and helped Cate become a part of society through manipulation. While Cate wasn’t entirely innocent of creating the mess, she was not the mastermind behind all of this.
They convince Cate to wake up, helping them get out of her mind. Marie and the others aren’t ready to forgive Cate just yet, but they no longer have a grudge against her. As for Sam, when he sees that Cate is alive, he tries to aggressively attack her.
Cardosa and Shetty test out the virus’ effects on a supe named Betsy. At first, injecting the virus causes Betsy to weaken, but when Cardosa increases the dose on Shetty’s command, it ends up killing her. Shetty comes up with a devious plan, which involves converting this virus into a contagious form.

A fresh episode of Gen V will be coming out on October 27th, 2023. All-new episodes of Gen V are released on Fridays, with each episode having a run time of 48-50 minutes.

In the upcoming episode of Gen V, we’ll be seeing Cardosa making the virus contagious, causing chaos for Jordan, Marie, and the rest of the supes. Shetty had other plans in mind, but when she saw what the virus could do at higher doses, she knew what her next step was going to be.
